Dr. Peplinski has 14 years of experience as a practicing general surgeon following his residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Peplinski performs a
variety of general surgery procedures, with an emphasis on minimally invasive laparoscopic operations,including hernia repairs, gallbladder removal, anti-reflux operations, breast surgery, adrenalectomy, thyroidectomy, radio-guided parathyroidectomy, colorectal surgery,and other abdominal operations.
Dr. Peplinski has a specific interest in endocrine and oncologic surgery. He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support and trained in robotic general surgery using the da Vinci surgery system.
Dr. Peplinski is a Chicago native and earned his medical degree with distinction from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospitals in St. Louis, Missouri, and a surgical oncology research fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Peplinski is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Illinois and Wisconsin Medical Societies.
Dr. Peplinski has authored numerous book chapters and manuscripts and has presented at surgical conferences across the country.
