Dr Gregory Amante uses his medical training in Podiatry to provide the best possible care to every patient. He majored in BS Health Science at the State
University of New York and received his medical training at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center PPMR. During his academic career, Dr Amante also published his research “Myotonic Dystophy and its Implications in Podiatry” in the Podiatric Medical Review. He has also volunteered at Diabetes Awareness Week in 1996 and is a member of the American Podiatric Association.
As a board certified doctor specializing in Podiatry, Dr. Amante is qualified to treat a wide range of foot related diseases and ailments such as gout, toenail diseases, bunions, and hammertoes. He is also experienced in performing procedures like orthotic casting, nail surgery, naildebridement, and plantar fasciitis.
Dr. Amante is also fluent in Russian, Spanish, and English and therefore well suited to cater to patients from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds. A fellowship in surgery and training in Diabetic foot care is also why his patients look to his expertise for accurate diagnoses. He also currently serves at the Department of Podiatry at the Maimonides Medical Center in New York.
