Dr. Gregory Levitin MD, FACS

Wow! This is an example of a "next level" doctor and I'm amazed that he's even accepting new patients. Dr. Levitin is extraordinarily professional, personable, knowledgeable, and seems truly passionate about his practice. He just seems like a terrific human being and I was almost tempted to ask him if I could babysit his kids because when people make you feel that positively about humanity then you just want them to be a part of your life. I am happy to settle for my status as a very satisfied ENT patient, however.

Extremely pleased and impressed with Dr. Levitin's work. I visited Dr. Levitin due to a nagging cough that had lasted for six months. I had previously consulted other doctors who basically said "sorry, nothing I can do for you; it will go away eventually." Dr. Levitin did a thorough evaluation and prescribed medicines that made my cough go away almost overnight! Dr. Levitin was very systematic about the way he considered my symptoms and developed a plan to tackle the problem. He also had an extremely pleasant bedside manner and was patient about addressing all my questions. Finally, all the members of his staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout my two visits to his office. Above all else, I give an A+ for the results. I have lived with a recurring winter cough for years, and this time around Dr. Levitin made it disappear almost overnight. If you are like me and have a nagging cough which you can't shake, I recommend Dr. Levitin highly. He clearly has a self-developed playbook for these kinds of cases that works really well.

Dr. Levitin is a fantastic doctor. His bedside manner is wonderful and he conveys a very compassionate and engaging demeanor. I was very disappointed to have waited nearly 40 minutes to see him, but he is the one doctor for whom the wait has proven to be worthwhile.

I got to Dr. Levitin's office and was told when I checked in that he was running late because of a surgery downtown. The staff was really friendly and apologetic, keeping me updated about where the doctor was. They brought me into the exam so that we could get started right when he arrived. I could tell from the plaques on his wall that he is a top-notch ENT surgeon. When he arrived, he politely apologized for the delay and then got right to business, asking a bunch of questions and listening to my answers (I know that sounds redundant but let's be honest, sometimes doctors don't seem to really be listening). He checked my ears, nose, and throat carefully and answered all of my questions. I would recommend Dr. Levitin highly.

I booked an appointment a month ago and during that time he had cancel 3 different appointments. If he was unable to meet appointments during the day he should not schedule them.

I have been looking for years for the perfect ENT doctor who will take the time to listen and Dr. Levitin did just that. i'm grateful to have found him because I have been struggling for a long time and Dr. Levitin listened to my issues and he was very thorough in his explanations which I really appreciated. All those other ENT I wasted my time on never lasted 5 minutes! I always left the office confused and back to square 1. I HIGHLY recommend!!! Amazing doctor, words can't express how grateful I am, really.

More than 40 minutes waiting outside. After filling out papers (first visit) and waiting for long time, the front desk person asked me if I really had an appointment.(?) Then, I spent another 15 minutes waiting for the doctor on his office. He checked my throat, nose and ears quickly and disappeared for another 10 minutes. He quickly found some polyps in my nose, quickly told me that treatment was better than surgery, quickly wrote some prescriptions and bye! NEXT!! There is a big sign in the front desk that says, "please, be patient, we're overbooked, bla bla bla". So, any negative comments, just be ready for high speed motion consultation and waiting in slow motion.

He really knows his stuff. A reallly good ENT. His office staff went out of their way to help me get a test at a hospital after I ran into trouble.

I had a horrible experience trying to get an appointment with another doctor on here and this was amazing. Quick, friendly and the doctor was simply amazing. Cannot recommend Dr. Levitin enough!

Dr. Levitin was so pleasant and helpful. He is working with me to reduce my discomfort and chronic sinus issues, and gave me a referral to a great professional for my TMJ. He was courteous, honest and willing and able to answer all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend him!

i was in a serious jam and really needed to see a specialist right before the end of year holiday. I had no idea how to find this type of specialist, especially one who would see me right before a holiday, until i stumbled on zocdoc. I was soooo grateful that Dr. Levitin and his staff could make this appointment work at the last minute. Because of my difficult schedule, i made the appt late at night and called first thing in the morning to be sure i really had an appt because i had read reviews on this doctor's office on zocdoc. the office staff could tell there was a problem with the appt and were willing to fix it. I work long hours and the ability to find doctors/specialists like Dr. Levitin, online is an amazing service!! Dr. Levitin could respond to my problem easily--it wasn't very serious but it did need to be checked.

The waiting area was clean and the doctor nice, but on the table where he has his equipment there was a silver dish that had tongue depressors,tissues and some other used items in it. I am not used to seeing that I would think the area would be cleaned in between patients. I don't believe it was anything of infectious waste like tools or injections, but still it was very off putting. I was ushered in right as the previous patient was leaving. I would rather wait a few minutes than to see things like that.

He was casual, frank, and understanding. Made adjustments for me, which I am very thankful for. A great doctor!

I only spent about five minutes with the doctor, so I can't provide too thorough a review on him but what I am rating is how frustrating booking an appointment with him, something that should not be an issue with ZocDoc. I've been trying to schedule a follow up appointment for the past few days-- called the Manhattan office and was told to call back because no one on his staff was in. Booked online for a day with available appointments, only to get an e-mail and later a phone call saying I would need to reschedule because the doctor would not be in. Rescheduled for the following week on ZocDoc and found out yet again that the doctor would not be in the office that week, despite having appointments available on ZocDoc. Finally had to call the Brooklyn office to book an appointment-- very frustrating. The reason I like ZocDoc is that I can make appointments without any hassle and the back and forth and different offices is a hassle. This is the fifth doctor I've found on ZocDoc and the only one I've had trouble with. Disappointing. Hopefully, the doctor will be able to help pinpoint my problems and make the trouble worthwhile.
