FANTASTIC! A lot of doctors in NYC have a tendency to rush patients in and out because of the high volume, but Dr. Tsai really took his time to go thoroughly through all my symptoms and problems and made me feel cared for. Overall, great visit. The doctor himself was very amiable, yet professional. He took his time with my consultation, explained everything thoroughly and e-mailed me within 24 hours with information he promised me. I will definitely make him my regular ENT. The only negative to my visit was the receptionists. The three people I interacted with all had an attitude problem from the get go and for no reason (there were no points of contention during my visit). But I came here to see a doctor--who was excellent--so I won't let that affect his rating.

Dr Tsai was professional and caring. He spent a long time with me, listening and explaining. He explained the drugs as well as their side effects, and provided me with options.

First visit ever to an ENT and (obviously) first with Dr. Tsai. I was able to get a same-day appointment on the day after a major holiday when many other ENT offices were closed. Dr. Tsai was very thorough and very nice—patient, great bedside manner, excellent listener, explained everything he was doing before he did it. Highly recommend. Re: wait time... Even though I was on time, filled out the patient paperwork in advance and even though there was only one other person in the waiting room (again, day after a major holiday), I waited about 35 minutes to be called into a patient room and then about five more minutes until the doctor came in. Not a huge deal, just something to keep in mind.

I was very upset about the receptionist. When I called to get the address they informed me that my appointment time was changed-but they didn't bother notifying me. When I told them I would try to be there at the new time they said if I am not there then the doctor will not see me. I was really upset.

Dr Tsai should teach a course to medical students/residents on bedside manners, because he is such a good listener. He is not condescending at all. I had many questions, and he gave each one the same level of importance as I did when I thought of them. He did not make me feel like they were "dumb" or "annoying" questions. I had questions after our appointment and he took the time between patients to answer me. He also gives out his email, which I used later on in the day with yet another question, and he responded right away! I would have liked to have a more aggressive approach to my treatment but his recommendations make sense.

The reason I chose to visit Dr. Tsai was because of his emphasis on education. I don't know much about the inner-workings of the ears, nose, or throat and I really wanted someone who would take the time to educate me on what's going on inside my head. I appreciated how Dr. Tsai utilized graphs and made drawings to explain things. I did, however, feel a tad rushed -- which is one of my biggest pet peeves with medical professionals.

A very long wait, nearly an hour to be seen, was I got to the Doctor it was fine.

Dr. Tsai is one of the most informative doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I went in because I couldn't breath due to a cold (and normally have congestion anyway). He taught me how congestion works, drew pictures so I completely understand and left relieved. He appreciated my homeopathic nature and gave me excellent remedies without medication. He's amazing!

The office staff were friendly and accomodated me being late. The wait time was very short and Dr. Tsai took the time to address all of my concerns. I would highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Tsai as a specialist for a condition that my regular ENT could not treat. He was very pleasant and no-nonsense, straight to the point and no chit-chat. He explained the procedure thoroughly, with diagrams, and was going to schedule me for a procedure. He contacted me several days later to inform me he was unable to procure the necessary equipment. He then suggested names of other physicians in the area who could possibly help me, one of which I made an appointment with. I really appreciate his honesty and assistance with finding another doctor. The office staff was very good as well and I hardly had any wait before I was seen.

Fantastic experience! My ear felt clogged for the last week. I saw Dr. Tsai and within 10 minutes he fixed the problem. My wait time was longer than expected, but they were very thoughtful and politely explained that there was an emergency during the appointment before mine. Very personable. Listened to my issues concerning my ear and possible hearing loss. Found cerumen (ear wax)in opposite ear another M.D. had said was clear. Removing wax is not painful but I was a bit jumpy, we then moved to another room with microscope and he effectively did what he needed to do.

Dr. Tsai is very attentive to what the patient is saying and very caring with a great bedside manner. He also takes his time to explain everything. The visit to his office was very useful and productive.

Quick service. Everyone there was very professional. The doctor was very informative and detailed explaining what was wrong and what I needed in order to get better. Even in explaining the medicine, side effects, etc. Told me what I needed to hear (it'll get better in time), and not what I wanted to hear (you will get better quick!) :-). So it helped cause now I know what to expect and to be patient. What I appreciate the most is that he told me if I have any questions in reference to my condition or the medicine, I can call him or even email him which not many doctors offer that. I highly recommend this Doctor!

First of all, 2 big thumps up for the ZocDoc App!!!!! I can't believe i got an appt with the doctor the FOLLOWING DAY!!!!! Usually it's next week or after 2 weeks. I didn't have to wait to see the doctor, as a matter of fact, it' the doctor who was waiting for me, as I was filling out the forms for the first time, as a new patient!!! Dr. Tsai is a wonderful doctor and his staff is very accommodating. The only thing negative worth mentioning, if you go through zocdoc apparently the time you schedule is not the time you get in. I had a 1:30 and did not get in to see him until 2:30 - supposedly because I booked through ZocDoc.

I booked an appt with Dr. Tsai after seeing the great review on ZocDoc.com. Well, I must say I was alittle disappointed with his bedside manner. He was in and out, no real friendliness, and I didn't even have a chance to ask any questions -he just left me in the room when he was done! dr. tsai is extremely knowledgeable and helpful - and probably one of the most understanding doctors i have ever met with (he came right in once he was told that i was under strict time constraints)....and i highly recommend him for someone who doesn't need to get in & out the door quickly- but i wouldn't recommend him for someone who has to be in & out in at the time scheduled (i realize i may have too highstandards here..)

My experience with Zoc Doc and Dr. Tsai was wonderful. I wok up at 12:30 AM with a horrible sore throat that I had ignored for a few days. I decided to go on Zoc Doc and see if I could find someone on my insurance for first thing the next morning. I was able to see Dr. Tsai at 9:30 the next morning. He was very attentive, explained everything and answered all my questions. All the recommendations were accurate. I couldn't be more pleased. What a great service!! Thank you!!

I thought he was wonderful and he calmed my fears considerably. I've had some very bad experiences with doctors in the past, so I'm quite skittish about them in general. (I also rarely see doctors for anything unless something seems TRULY wrong; like once every 15 years.) I'm recommending him to my father and, of course, all of you.

Great doctor. I've seen a lot of ENTs and this was the first who actually listened to everything I had to say, explained everything clearly so that I understood it, repeatedly asked if I had any questions, and DIDN'T push me to have elective surgery like all the others. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Tsai. I tend to avoid doctors' offices like the plague, but will not hesitate to call this office next time I feel under par. I was seen by the doctor immediately following my completion of the forms. He explained, in layman's terms, how each of my symptoms related to my diagnosis, and how each would be treated by the prescribed medication. The office was clean and orderly, the receptionists were warm and helpful, and I was in and out in about 35 minutes.

I thought Dr Tsai did a great job treating me. He really explained the functionality of the medicine I was taking and explained what was causing my vertigo symptoms. He talked me through what I should expect and how to speed along the process. I will definitely return to him with any further ENT-type issues.

The office was professional, I was called within 10 minutes of signing in and Dr. Tsai walked in almost immediately and began the consultation. I was more than an hour early for my appointment, it was my first visit, i went in signed the usual papers and the doctor called me in, he was thorough, professional and explained every single detail to me, he then referred me to another specialist for a test by the time i got home the specialist called me about the referral. I will refer Dr. Tsai to anyone.

How refreshing to not feel as though I am not on an assembly line during a visit, particularly as a new patient who booked last minute with an emergency. I am a musician, so I need my ears to earn my living; on the day of my visit, my ears were so clogged that I knew I couldn't play my matinee that day. I booked my visit via the internet just hours before, after finding Dr. Tsai on ZocDoc. I selected Dr. Tsai mostly by his proximity to the theater, in case he were running behind. I was taken on time, but not hurried, and Dr. Tsai took the time to discuss my medical and personal history before proceeding. I was impressed that he had also read and received my " "cry-for-help" e-mail via ZocDoc, which I really didn't expectwould happen; normally, one is asked to fill out forms and write things and it goes no further. Dr. Tsai cleaned my thoroughly clogged ears quickly and painlessly, always checking my comfort level in the process. He also checked my nose and throat - a bonus exam! I appreciated being treated as a patient and not a number, and have already recommended Dr. Tsai to colleagues.
