I've been to a few eye doctors in manhattan, and Dr. Engel was definitely the best. He took his time, and was very thorough with the eye exam. I would definitely go back.

Was lucky to get a same-day appointment as a new patient. Dr. Engel was great and even called in my Rx immediately to a nearby drugstore. Well-run office, too.

Pleasant front desk experience. Doctor was attentive, informative, and I think he helped me. (Too late to know for sure.) I intend for him to be my regular ophthalmologist now.

He didn't really diagnose my issue, nor did he prescribe any medication or advise. Also I was on time for my appointment and he still took a patient that was late for her appointment before me. I landed up waiting 1/2 hour.

Unless you have a serious eye illness don't go to him. He let me know he was a surgeon and really didn't like wasting time with my problem, all thought he did see me
