Dr. Henry Merola MD

Dr. Merola took the time to listen and explain my situation. I left his office confident in the next steps and with all my questions answered. I didn't mind to wait for a few minutes, my appointment was the last appointment of the week and I knew this might happen -- I also knew he as a good magazine selection ; )

Dr Merola is the last of a dying breed...a Doctor who actually LISTENS to his patients...takes time to find out what is going on in their life, since this has an enormous impact on their health...shares cutting edge medical information...works hard to educate his patients in nutrition and general health care specific to their medical needs. We drive one and a half hours each way to see this Doctor, when we could most likely find a GP much closer to home.

Dr. Merola is an incredibly attentive and knowledgeable doctor.

He is great! Very intelligent, wise, as well as caring. A true doc who takes great care to evaluate your condition until reaching a root cause. I get great tips for healthier living from him. I also know that if there is a real urgent issue, they can sometimes squeeze me in, because they care! I don't mind longer wait times, knowing that they are doing that when it's truly needed.

Dr. Merola and his staff were timely and accomodating despite their very busy office and my last-minute appointment. Dr. Merola was caring and helpful, listened to my concerns and was very generous in sharing his knowledge of my symptoms. He was thorough and took samples for testing even though I had not requested this on my own, just because he believed it was the right thing to do. He also explained why the tests were being done, and how I would be able to follow up on them in the near future. His staff administered the tests expertly without adding much to my overall in-office time. I was very peasantly surprised and would definitely recommend Dr. Merola to anyone looking for a new physician.

I really liked Dr. Merola! He was very genial and I loved that he explained to me why something was, not just told me. He knew what he was talking about without being stiff as so many doctors are. I would see him again for sure!

Everything went smoothly and as planned. The online booking streamlined everything on my (the patient's) side. Dr. Merola is a great guy with lots of experience and a powerful network; he brings a lot to his patients.

It was great except for the wait. I think that's just a tradeoff of going to someone with an individual practice - if one patient is late, the whole system gets backed up. They were super-nice about it, though, and it clearly wasn't their fault. I will be going back.

Dr. Merola is an excellent doctor. He adds a personal touch in dealing with me as a patient. I will continue to use him as my PCP. The only issue was a long wait. Other than that I'm completely satisfied.

He was friendly and thorough. He was sensitive to my time constraints and immediately connected me to the resources I needed.

I thought that Dr. Merola was very explicit in explaining what was wrong. He was also helpful with some other health issues that I have,and took the time to talk to me about them. The only complaint that I would have is the waiting time. There are way too many pages to fill in before the visit.

I've been seeing Dr. Merola for years. He is an expert in the wide-ranging field of primary care medicine, never disappointing me regarding diagnosis or prescription of appropriate medication, and while there's usually something of a wait I know it's because he's giving all of his patients the same care and attention he gives me.
