Patient Reviews for Dr. Hon-Ming Eng - MD
The Dr. And his staff were very helpful and understanding of my situation, Even web they drew blood they did their best to be comforting and make it pleasant. I would highly recommend this Dr and his facility.
Much better than I expected! Great help :)
The Dr. seemed really good, knowledgable, very relaxed and friendly. the staff was also nice. My only complaint was my skin got inflamed at the site where the bandaid was placed after they took the blood work. This has never happened before. I don't know if I developed a new allergy, or if they use bandaids that are not hypoallergenic.
Clean office, great staff, awesome doctor! I am due back for an endoscopy. It is my first one. I will leave feedback after it.
Dr. Eng was very considerate and asked a lot of questions to gather information. He said that we needed to run some tests to get the full picture of what is going on with my body. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment once we have all the intel.
Dr Eng is wonderful; unfortunately, everyone else in the office is incompetent, which makes for a very unpleasant experience overall. It all began when I booked my appointment on zocdoc - I received 2 confirmation emails over the next few days, but when I called the office, they had absolutely no record of my appointment and didn't have time to see me. After my husband called several times, they finally agreed to double book me and squeeze me in. I had a few blood tests done on a friday, and when I came in for a procedure the following monday, the guy at the front desk told me they'd call me that night with the blood test results. No call. Moreover, I was told there were several things going on with my stomach, but was given no advice on how to address it with dietary changes or medicine [they didn't even give me any pamphlets - all my other friends who have had acid reflux, etc. have received detailed information on how to proceed, but mine just delivered the news and left.] I then called on Thursday to find out what had happened - they promised to get back to me but never did. 8 days later, I called again, and as usual, the person who answered PROMISED to get back to me that day. It is now monday - I have heard nothing. I called about an hour ago, and was told I'd hear back today, but I've been hearing that for weeks - why should I believe them now?! Ho hard is it to call someone back with the results of a blood test that were taken weeks ago? I am livid - so livid that I am writing the first review of my life
Great experience at a doctors office
doctor ok staff and office peculiar kinda scary
Very smart man.
Very good at talking about causes and effects, and describing where and how problems occur in the digestive system. Thorough enough to describe rare genetic disorders that predispose to other problems, too, and calming down patient.
He knows how to calm a patient and he is very knowledgeable. The only thing that got to me was that he didn't return my calls for a while to explain some blood work results but his place is very busy all the time with procedures and the like. Just know that he'll get back to you.
Dr. Eng was happy to hear my symptoms and refer me to another doctor, but rather than discuss remedies was very quick to schedule me for a diagnostic procedure that I most certainly did not need. My symptoms were relieved with simple over-the-counter medicine as directed from another physician's 2nd opinion.
Well Educated doctor interested in patients well being.
I thought the doctor was excellent and his staff was fantastic! I have a phobia of needles and the girl that took my blood was EXCELLENT! She was so considerate and she made sure that I was ok by talking to me the entire time. It was wonderful!
