Howard Brooks, MD

A skilled physician with a distinguished background, Dr. Brooks has received recognition by patients, peers and the media, for his commitment to quality care. A graduate of Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Brooks completed his medical internship at Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, and his residency at Howard University Hospital, which included experience at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Children's National Medical Center and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Dr. Brooks is the author or co-author of numerous scientific and clinical articles in peer reviewed journals and texts. He is an attending instructor for the University Health Center at University of Maryland. In addition, Dr. Brooks has often served as an expert resource for local and national media outlets including CNN, Fox Morning News, NewsChannel 8 and WTOP.
