Dr. Jacob Levitt is Associate Professor of Dermatology; Residency Director; and Course Director of the MSII Dermatology Pathophysiology course for second year medical students at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Levitt's clinical interests are heavily influenced by his mentor, Dr. Mark Lebwohl, and include psoriasis and complicated dermatological problems. In addition, Dr. Levitt has special expertise in head lice and scabies. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Levitt is President of the Periodic Paralysis Association (www.periodicparalysis.org) and is a fourth degree black belt and instructor in Shotokan Karate.
