Jeffrey Ellis, MD is a board certified dermatologist. Dr. Ellis graduated from the combination BA/MD program at Brooklyn College/SUNY Downstate. During medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Following a pediatric internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital, Dr. Ellis completed his dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, serving as chief resident in his last year. After residency, Dr. Ellis spent an additional year in training, where he completed a fellowship in Mohs Surgery. Dr. Ellis is currently the Director of Dermatological Surgery at North Shore/ Long island Jewish Hospital.

He's straight up & to the point and I appreciate that. He gives me honest feedback and after seeing the results over these past few months, I really trust him. I've been getting compliments on my skin and it's all due to being under his care. Two thumbs up!

He was very professional and easy to talk to. He promptly introduced himself, shook my hand, and spent about 20 minutes with me to just talk about what was going on with my acne. He listened patiently (I did a lot of talking) about my concerns and past experiences with dermatologists before jumping in. He was very assuring and explained my options to me. I really appreciated that he wasn't quick to push products and procedures on me like others had in the past. I felt that he was very honest. Overall, an excellent first experience with Dr. Ellis!

Waited around 40 minutes before seeing the doctor. And the doctor spent just less than 5 minutes.
