Dr. Winston is very down to earth and personable. He has a full office staff which is refreshing in this field. Dr. Winston does not seem to be one of those doctors that wants to fix something that is not broken; he seems to be willing to do his own homework rather than depending on what someone else has said or done with you.

Dr Winston is outstanding. He has been my Dr for over 10 years. He is truley one of a kind. His knowledge of ADD has helped me realize m full potential.

Dr. Winston and his staff were very caring and supportive. Today I went for my first visit, which does take some waiting time. However, it is worth it because they take the time to do a lot of background work with you. In other words, they work hard to get your whole story. They all had excellent bedside manner. I'll be going back to them in the future, for sure.

There's a reason I always come back to him, over the last 12 years. He remembers me, my issues, and is more than accommodating for my small children I have to bring along to my appts. He's polite, trustworthy, and I really feel like he understands the demands of single motherhood and depression/anxiety. Highly recommended.

Great doctor

This was my first visit with Dr. Winston. While the appointment itself was OK, I waited for more than an hour past my scheduled time to see him. My advice is to try to be among the first patients of the day -- that way he will be less likely to run behind.

This was not the first time I have had to wait a long time. It fluctuates from about 45 min to 2 hours. Otherwise, the practice is fine.

Dr. Winston and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Winston is an excellant psychiatrist. He has been treating me for years for ADD. I don't know what I would have done without his guidence. His staff is very warm and caring. .

I like Dr. Winston, he has saved me and my job. He says with you until you are doing better and does what it takes to keep you there. I have learned there is a better life out there.

My appointment was for 3:15 p.m. I was ushered into a room around 4:00 p.m. Finally, the doctor came in at 4:55 and I probably had less than 10 mintutes with him because I was walking to my car at 5:08. My time is just as valuable as the doctor's time, particularly since I have to make up the hours I missed at work. Also, I have had several visits with Dr. Winston and each time I have been there my initial conference has been with a PA in training. Finally, and I sure it is for his protection, but he only provides a 90-day supply of medication and requires a "follow-up" visit for the next 90-days. I would be happy I could see him every six months (twice a year) versus every three months.

His waiting room times are the highest of any M.D. in the Atlanta area. One must set aside 4 hours in both drive time, wait time, and seeing the doc time. Not acceptable at all.

I thought he was very insightful. He seemed to have genuine concern and care for why I was there. I hope that the treatment plan suggested will help with the issues that I am dealing with currently.

Every thing was fine except for the 1 hr+ wait. I had to be a work after the appt. so I felt like I was cutting it close. Love his bedside manner!

While Dr. Winston is very helpful, knowledgeable, and a good doctor. I would have a hard time recommending him due to wait times. Each visit I have waited from 30 minutes to over two hours past my scheduled time before meeting with him. For someone with ADHD and anxiety disorders this can be a bit much as I usually cannot even focus on a magazine or game to occupy myself. Also, irrelevant to the service, the waiting room could use a bit of care. Which I take as not demonstrating a commitment to his work.

It was horrible and he expresses no real interest in what you're saying and acts completely unprofessionally. Not to mention the building looks like a hole in the wall and they don't even tell you what the actual room number is because there is no sign for the place. Never going back it's a waste of time and just makes you feel worse.

Very cold and indifferent. Didn't seem to listen or care and wouldn't shake my hand.

The only unusual thing is that he has five or six waiting rooms after the original waiting room and directs patients, five or six at a time, into those rooms. It's a little weird but not bad I guess. I was confused by his manner at first (he comes across a little short), but pretty soon it was fine. He's nice and was interested in what I had to say.

Even with an early morning appt we were there a seriously long time. We actually spoke to the dr for under 15 min (but to a staff person for about 20-30 min before the dr) but we were in the office a total of just over 2 and 1/2 hrs. That is a really long wait for 45 min of actual face time with someone. However, we did feel that the dr cared a lot and the staff was pleasant to deal with. Later the pharmacist told us that their office is notorious for never answering their phone and we found getting a person to answer the phone was indeed extremely difficult.

Yes, expect to wait....but his knowledge is worth the wait!

Well it did take a little wait time but that was because I was 30 minutes early.

Waited 1hr 15 min. for a 7 min visit.

Great doctor and today the timing was better than normal. Got out in less than an hour.

Very informative about medication and honest about its side effects. I can tell he genuinely cares for my well being and that he is passionate about his job. He even gave me a great suggestion about writing a book about my life, starting with my gratitude and appreciation towards my maternal grandfather who I have never met but owe my life to him. Thank you!

i love dr winston,he had helped me a lot over the years.i have being seeing dr winston,since 1997.he is a good dr.

He was very easy to talk to and gave simple, straight to the point advice. I would recommend him to anyone. My only complaint is that his office was difficult to locate.
