Jenna is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) who graduated with a Master’s in Science from Georgetown University. Previously, she attended the University of Central
Florida (UCF) in Orlando, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. During that time she wrote her thesis “Preventing Perineal Trauma: A Review of the Literature.” Her clinical experiences have been diverse including community hospitals, academic high risk hospitals and even a birth center. She enjoys being very active in her profession and serves as the DC Affiliate of the American College of Nurse Midwives Treasurer. While at UCF she served as the President of the Student Nurses Association and on the State Board for the Florida Student Nurses Association. She enjoys working with a diverse population of patients through out their lifespan. Her conviction is that every woman deserves a safe satisfying health care experience of their choosing. “Knowledge is power!”
She lives in Alexandria with her husband, Chris, and their two beloved adopted dogs, Chanel and Oliver. Jenna is a native South Floridian who moved to DC for graduate school and fell in love with the city. While she misses the Florida beaches and her family/friends, she loves all of the things DC and the surrounding areas have to offer. She enjoys traveling, high heels, cooking, shopping, being crafty, trying new restaurants, and exploring metro DC.
