Dr. Jennifer Kabak is a family doctor serving greater New York City who excels in preventive medicine. She believes that delivering top-quality care depends on great patient-doctor communication.
Dr. Kabak has conducted research on how best to reach medically under-served populations, and she has a passion for understanding the social factors that might cause patients to get sick. She has experience volunteering her time at free clinics, and she currently works at Access Community Health Center, which seeks to give quality health care to all patients, regardless of income. Her hard work and compassion has been well-recognized with numerous awards, including the Family Medicine Leadership Award from Kent Hospital.
Dr. Kabak’s interest in patient rights flourished during her studies of Medical Journalism at NYU and Northwestern University, after which she received her DO from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Kabak’s professional affiliations include the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society, and Medical Society of the State of New York.
