She is a Cum Laude graduate of Wellesley College, and she received her Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After a medical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, she completed her ophthalmology residency training at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Infirmary and New York University.
