She was great! I made my appointment just one day before, which in my experience is totally unheard of in the ob/gyno field, normally doctors are booked for weeks. Although the reason for my visit was awkward and a little embarrassing Dr. Paik made me feel very conformable and at ease. She explained everything as we went and then gave the reason for each of my medication and how/when to take them. Normally doctors just throw unnecessary (and expensive) Rx's at me, but Dr. Paik took the time to talk about each medicine.

I highly recommend Dr. Paik. Unlikely other doctors, she listened my problems and explained well with several options for persisting my heavy bleeding after fibroids removal from a doctor. In addition she was very kind and gentle. Finally I am happy to see such a great doctor.

In short,very gentle, thorough, thoughtful and intelligent! I have had an ongoing issue and been very frustrated with the "its all in your head" or "just live with it" attitudes I have gotten from previous physicians. Dr. Paik addressed the issue as a real issue and while admitting the symptoms were contradictory, suggested they had different root causes. After one visit, I left feeling more hopeful than I have in years. Additionally, since a teenager my annual exam has ranged from very uncomfortable to jump off the table painful, yet Dr. Paik was finished before I thought it had begun!
