I felt a bit rushed. The office made a mistake with my booking and it seems that they were expecting me 2 days later while my zocdoc confirmation email was for today.
That may have been the reason I was rushed and wasn't able to say all I needed to say or ask (I had a lot of questions).
The offiice is very clean, the doctor was gentle, I just wish she'd explained things with more details....

I loved my visit! I was seen immediately. There was no waiting time at all! Dr. Berman took her time and addressed all of my concerns. At no point did I feel rushed or dismissed. I felt so at ease during the exam and will definitely be coming back!

Dr. Joan Berman was kind and professional if not over an hour long wait. The office was not overcrowded, there was one person ahead of me that was taken at my appointment time. I paid my visit without insurance, so I found the waiting time is irritating for cash visit. Otherwise, once in the room, the visit went smooth, quick and efficient.

Dr. Berman has been a tremendous help to me in overcoming the physical (including sexual) consequences of breast cancer and menopause. She is kind, practical, and easy to talk to. I am very grateful to her.

Dr. Berman is a sweetheart. Very knowledgable, very attentive. Her staff was sweet too. I had about a 30 min wait, she apologized and explained she had an Emergency earlier in the am which pushed everything back. (understandable) and once I was in her office and the exam room, it went very quickly, but I was not rushed. Highly recommend!

The doctor was very sweet but she was a little spacey and hard of hearing. We finished our visit. In the waiting room I remembered something else that we might want to test for. The doctor waived me away. It was a tough situation, but I believe if we needed more time to explore something, she might have suggested to book another visit or do the test there because we had missed something.
I also asked my results to be faxed and I had to call them twice in order to get this done, even though I had asked for this at the time of the visit.
On the upside, the doctor was patient and informed about the insurance process, i.e. what might be covered and what might not. It was a relief to work with someone savvy about this process. The nurse was efficient and knowledgeable in this area.
There were also lots of "creature comforts" at the "classy" office. There was water in the waiting room. She had a comfortable bolster pillow in the room. She uses real cotton gowns (not the plasticy disposable ones.) She uses real, reusable, sterilized tools. I like this environmentally friendly option.

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Berman. She was gentle and really took the time to get to know me. However, I wish the office was more organized. I have no idea how the appointment system was working...

Dr Berman, and everyone who worked there, was incredibly kind, informative and supportive. I arrived twenty minutes before my appt to fill out paperwork, as recommended in the voicemail they left me. I was seen straight after I filled everything out. Dr Berman was very gentle and kind and thorough. All the staff were friendly, prompt and professional. I highly recommend!

My zocdoc appt did not register in their system but they literally made time for me anyway! They were EXTREMELY helpful and nice and Dr. Berman was very calming. She let me ask all of my questions and was just a very nice presence to be with. She made just the right amount of small talk. She gave very thoughtful answers to my questions instead of just answering robotically. Most importantly, everyone double checked that everything I needed would be covered by my insurance!

Very thorough and warm. She doesn't do obstetrics, only gyn. As a woman in menopause I'm happy to have found someone familiar with and sensitive to the issues. She addressed many things my last doc didn't. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Berman had a confusing bedside manner. She was really brusque and almost rude during the initial conversation we had where we talked about my health history. When we moved to the exam room, I think she could tell that I was upset from our initial conversation and she got much warmer and more attentative, but frankly it was too little too late. It seems like she's a good doctor who cares, I just didn't feel,as a new patient, that I could trust her and feel welcomed to her office. Front desk staff also seemed overwhelmed and while they apologized for how messy/busy they were, they also didn't make any effort to speed things along for me. All in all, pretty weird visit and I don't know if I'll be going back.
