Dr. Kaliyur Venkat MD

I've been seeing Dr. Venkat for years now and very happy with him as my primary doctor.

Very professional, friendly and efficient.

Booked my appt late the night before and was able to be seen in the morning. About a 35min wait but the appt was quick and thorough. I'd go back for something minor but not as a primary doctor.

Dr. Venkat was quick, thorough and professional. His office is in a B-grade building, but once you're in, it's fine. He's got a very streamlined approach to care. He took blood from me himself and put it right into the centrifuge in the room - no waiting time or phlebotomist. I'll see him again for the follow-up in a week, and I suspect I'll be happy again.

Knows what he's doing, very straight to the point and knowledgeable. Appointment started right on time, no waiting around. Will be using again in the future.

Really listens to what my ailment is and approaches solution with common sense.

Overall, the visit was amazing despite the long, long wait time. Dr. Venkat was very receptive of what I was telling him and even had a colleague of his (a gastroenterologist) see me right after him as my issues was not directly in his wheelhouse. I feel if i had an earlier appointment (<10AM) I would have been in and out. Really great!

This was one of the best doctors visit I had in a long time. I plan to make Dr. Venkat my PCP. Excellent service. He quickly understood my issue. He was very precise and up to the point. I would highly recommend him!

I came midday, the waiting room was full, and I waited 40 minutes. I've also come for the first appointment of the day, and I was seen within 20 minutes.

this is not my first visit- I have been seeing dr Venkat for almost two years now- the best thing about him is he understands your time- especially if you are coming during lunch or before work is precious - he makes good use of the time- if its for prescription refill- he asks the right questions - knows your history - and done - annuals- everything is quickly done but thoroughly - issues - he listens and prescribes appropriate treatment

The doctor was excellent. Made me feel comfortable. Paperwork was not tedious at all.

he's the man. He's very, very fast, and tells you everything you need.

On this and another visit, doctor arrived late (I had first appointment in the morning). On my second visit, a follow up, when doctor brought me in to his office, he asked me why I had come in -- if he had looked first at the chart which he had in his hand he would have known it was a follow up. Additionally, doctor read my blood test results as inconclusive, blaming it on the lab and suggesting we retest. When I then went to another doctor (one I had seen years earlier and trusted), that doctor was able to explain the results.

Dr. Venkat was pleasant, personable and very direct in a good way. The office was comfortable and paperwork was minimal. I was greeted right when I walked in and did not have to wait long for the doctor.

Dr. Venkat's staff was very quick and attentive. Dr. Venkat was also quick, but less attentive. Before proceeding with the consultation and examination, he placed a call to an assistant to discuss another patient's case. After that call was over, he contined with the examination. All in all, it was a fine visit, but I am looking for a different general care doctor after this experience.

Proffesional no-nonsense doctor that will always make time for you when u need him !

Dr. Venkat is extremely professional- takes an interest in his patients- makes sure of followups - advises on what needs to be done next - but understands a patient's time is just as valuable as his- Office staff is wonderful

I wasn't impressed with the service offered at his clinic. The doctor didn't discuss all the matters in detail and there was no pre-appointment call to inform me of the requirements for the blood test and no follow up.

Great bedside manner, professional. Uses a computer to back up what he's telling you. I would certainly go back.

He wasn't incredibly friendly and I had to wait a little while but what he lacked in those areas were made up for in his treatments of my problems. He wasn't afraid to prescribe anything I needed and gave me sound advice on how to handle things on my own. I will probably continue seeing him.

Dr. Venkat was very nice and had great bedside manner. The appointment was efficient. I suppose I would have wanted the appointment to feel thorough, though I'm in good health, so there really wasn't all that much to check. I would recommend Dr. Venkat.

Dr. Venkat saw me as soon as my paperwork was done, and I had even arrived an hour earlier to my appointment. His bedside manner was brief and to-the-point, but in a very professional manner. This was only my first visit with him, but I am glad to have found him through ZocDoc, and look forward to having him as my PCP. He answered all of my questions, and thoroughly checked my health in this general consultation.
