The first time I came to see Dr. Chessir, my appointment got cancelled because she had to deliver a baby. That's perfectly okay but the nurses grossly underestimated how long it would take her to return. That was annoying. I had to rebook but my second visit went very smoothly. Dr. Chessir is a very sweet lady.

Dr. Kimberly Chesshir was born in El Paso, TX and was raised there until she moved to Houston at age 11. She attended Texas Tech where she graduated with a degree in Business. She went on to achieve a Masters degree in International Marketing and worked for several years before realizing a long-held dream of becoming a physician. She graduated from University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, TX and then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She is an avid reader and is kept busy by her two nephews and several cats (all of whom are quite spoiled).

I love love love Dr. Chesshir. Appointments are always fast and super friendly. I can always contact her through the patient portal without having to go in for a visit. They even write my Rx via the portal if I describe symptoms that they can easily recognize. Making payments on the portal is seamless as well.

I'm growing impatient that the past few times I've brought up my concern that my endometriosis has returned, Dr. Chesshir's response is to go back on birth control to alleviate the symptoms. I've had to have endometrial ablation before and therefore know it's really the only way for full relief to occur. Plus, I don't want to do back on yet another pill.
I think she needs to return to her once proactive self and dig in when a patient has a concern. Otherwise, I am going elsewhere for my care.

I am satisfied with my visit. Doctor was patient and very friendly and made me really comfortable during the visit and answered all my questions with patience. I wasn't really satisfied with front desk people , they really need to work on their behavior and receiving the patients. I was completely satisfied with the Nurse though, she was very friendly. Except front desk and check out ladies, my visit was really good and completely satisfactory with doctor and nurse. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kimberly Chesshir.

Dr. Chesshir and her staff were both very friendly. Dr. Chesshir was very informative. I was very impressed with how fast they got me in and out of the office. I only had to wait about 10mins from my set appointment time to be taken back into a room. I was in and out of the office within about an hour of my set appointment time.

I would not recommend this Doctor, not because I had a bad experience with her, but because the support staff is terrible. They would not respond to my phone calls and did not seem concerned that I was waiting on them for over a week for my prenatal vitamins and medicine. Completely unacceptable.

First of all, her medical assistant Latonya was super nice and sweet and both her and the doctor made sure I was comfortable enough before the exam, asking if I wanted to talk to the doctor before hand to help me relax and both made me laugh and feel much better about everything! The doctor is really nice and takes the time to explain anything and everything until you understand. I have only had 2 previous OBGYNs in my life, one I moved away from and the previous just moved from here, so I was weary of a new one but I can't thank the office enough for taking the time to make me feel at home! Highly reccomend her!

I love Dr. Chesshir. She takes time to listen. Conversation is like talking to a friend making it easy to open up and ask the questions that may be sitting in the back of my mind. Everyone is "busy", but with Dr. Chesshir you would never know how hectic her day might be. I am in and out of the office quickly, but never rushed.
