Dr Bickel has a wonderful manner, is easy to talk to, and is concerned about his patients. Even after 12 years, he remembered working on my hand and was very painstaking in his exam.

I appreciated Dr. Bickel's manner. He appeared knowledgeable, he listened carefully, and he explained the options I could pursue for the arthritis in my hands. He did not push surgery; in fact he did not recommend any action at this time. So many doctors are quick to tell you they can rectify your problem, but he agreed there was not quick fix for me. I will continue to remain under his care.

Doctor was great -- but he was running 40 minutes behind schedule due to emergencies.

I really appreciated the opportunity to meet with Dr. Bickel and get some clarity on a hand injury that has been bothering me for several months. I feel I am in excellent hands (ha) and confident my treatment is now moving in the right direction!

I was seeing Dr.Bickel for a 2nd opinion because the doctor who performed surgery had made a mistake. Dr. Bickel is going to do what he can to fix things. He was honest and told me that there might be lasting damage from the 1st surgery. He was gentle and kind, answered my questions, and most important of all, was the first doctor to say he was really sorry this had happened.

I thought that the one front office person was a bit grim, maybe snooty. Otherwise, my dealings with the doctor were fine. All of my questions were answered patiently.

He's a straight shooter...I didn't hear what I wanted to hear, but the advice was what I expected.
Dr. Bickel is very knowledgeable about the hand. I highly value his opinion.
