Dr. Peterson is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in comprehensive reconstruction in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. He is board certified in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Peterson received advanced orthopedic fellowship training from the acclaimed Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio. During his fellowship year, Dr. Peterson’s training focused on arthroscopic ankle surgery and sports medicine, reconstructive forefoot, hindfoot and ankle surgery, including total ankle replacement, and trauma.
Dr. Peterson is also extensively trained in the treatment of lower extremity complications from diabetes, including limb salvage.

I am quite satisfied with the services and attention provided by Dr. Peterson and his staff. He had a wonderful bedside manner, just as previous review mention. Even with a busy office, he took his time in explaining what the problem was, how it might affect me, and how to resolve it. I would definitely return to his office in the future .

I liked that he was not rushed. That is rare for doctors these days. I was willing to wait 20 minutes because he spent about 30 minutes with me. He made me feel very comfortable. He didn’t jump to surgery right away. Instead, he explored other options.

Dr. Peterson has a kind, gentle bedside manner and a reassuring manner. Xrays were completed promptly and he returned shortly after they were done. He also helped me anticipate how soon I can resume normal activities.
