Dr. Okamura received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Sociology with a focus in Women’s Studies. She earned her Master in Public Health degree and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University. Dr. Okamura then trained at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, and graduated from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.
Dr. Okamura’s professional memberships include: American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology, American Medical Association, and Massachusetts Medical Society.
What distinguishes Dr. Okamura is her insistence on reserving time for each patient, to listen and give thorough explanations that are clear and understandable.
Kyoko and her husband, Daniel, live in Boston, and are the parents of a 9 month old daughter. They enjoy many different activities together as a family, including cooking and traveling globally.
