Dr. Herbert was great. Very friendly and took time to listen, despite a busy day. It's true I needed to wait 20 minutes, but he was apologetic, as was the admin up front, and his pleasant demeanor more than made up for the slight delay.

Dr Herbert was extremely helpful as i saw him for 2 appointments over the course if 3 days. Both times he took me in earlier than I was scheduled and he was friendly and informative about my symptoms. He even explained my symptoms to my mom over the phone! If you are looking for a general practitioner he is great.

Dr Herbert is a wonderful doctor. He doesn't rush or hurry along to get to other patients and always has time to speak with you one-on-one to address your concerns. For the first 8 of the 10 years that I have lived in NYC I had many unsatisfactory appointments with doctors in my health insurance network. Often they were rude or dismissive and didn't have much time to explain things to me (and I am a healthy person). You won't be disappointed with Dr Herbert.

Dr Herbert was great and very professional. He was thorough and took care of my issue with no fuss. I was a tourist visiting New York for a short time and was very relieved to find Dr Herbert on ZocDoc so clise to where i was staying. Would definitely recommend him.

My only complaint is I didn' expect a general practioner to charge a specialist copay. I probably should have called to inquire. Even paying a specialist copay, I was overall very pleased. Everything else was great.

Dr. Herbert is wonderful. He was friendly, very attentive and took his time to go over my medical history. He also got back to me the next day with my test results. He is obviously a great Physician and I am very pleased with his medical services. His office was clean and his staff was courteous as well.

I was so nervous about seeing a new doctor and Dr. H was so nice, professional, thorough and I left feeling much better. He even gave me some cold lemonade and Tylenol to ease my 102 fever! He pretty much knew all my symptoms as I rattled them all off almost in tears. I'm always so reluctant to go see a doc but he and the office staff made me feel very comfortable and prescribed the meds I needed. I'm def. going back to this office.

Convenient Location and excellent bed-side manner. Devotes time to each patient and answers any questions patient might have. A truly excellent Doctor visit experience overall! The office doesn't take credit cards though... so make sure to bring a check book or cash before your visit! :-)

The office staff here was very friendly and accommodating to fit me in for an appointment. Dr. Herbert was an extremely genuine and caring professional- he took the time to listen to all of my issues without rushing me! He then proceeded to explain the diagnosis as well as how long it would take to recover. He got me through the appointment with a positive outlook through his sense of humor. I have found my new Primary Care doc!

Dr lawrence is a wonderful doctor who treated me with the upmost respect and made my visit to his office pleasurable even if he did stick a needle in my arm. I have recommended him to my daughter so I am sure you will see her one day. I would also like to pass compliments to your receptionist as she was a lovely lady, a great front person for your practice. When I walked into the office I immediately smelled cigarette smoke. I thought it might have come from outside because the windows were open. However, when doctor Lawrence came to examine me I smelled the cigarette smoke on his fingers. Also, I asked Dr. Lawrence for a write up of my visit for legal purposes( I was injured by a personal trainer) this was NEVER done. I called every week asking for it. I called every week for 5 months and never got anything from the Doctor, the secretary told me that he was "very busy" and "tends to forget things" I do not agree with his smoking habits, I believe any medical professional is well aware of the dangers of smoking,and also his NON-participation in giving me my medical records is unacceptable.
