Dr. Behr is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, has been named in D Magazine's Best Doctors for 10 straight years and also selected by Texas Monthly as a Texas Super Doctor, an honor bestowed on less than 5% of Texas doctors. He graduated from medical school in 1967 in Johannesburg, South Africa and has been in general family practice for 40 years, 34 of those years in Dallas.
His special interests are general preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of clinical problems in patients of all ages.
He lives in Dallas with his wife, Linda, has 3 children and is a proud grandfather of 7 children.

Average definitely not very easy to open up to without feeling judged
He did a great job explaining everything to me in terms where I could understand them. He made me feel very comfortable. Even walked me out at the end of my appointment. Two thumbs up!
