Dr. Walker grew up in Norwalk, Conn. the daughter of a Family Practitioner and an Elementary School Teacher. Being that she was exposed to medicine from birth, she always knew that any career she would chose would have a basis in science. After graduating, with honors, and a Bachelors degree in Chemistry at Howards University in Washington D.C., Dr. Walker chose to remain at Howard University to complete her medical school education. An accredited residency in OB-Gyn followed at Howard University where Dr. Walker served as Chief Resident in her final years. It was following her completion of her residency that she relocated to Southern California to pursue private practice in OB-Gyn and infertility in 1986. Dr. Walker is a Board Certified Physician who enjoys giving that personal touch and keeping abreast of new trends in Women's Health Care.
