He is understanding, clear, and informative. Addresses concerns thoroughly. The staff is also wonderful.
Excellent!!
Great doctor, great office. Makes a point to get to know his patient and has a genuine concern for his patients.
gets the job done
Dr. Kremberg is okay. He has so many patients that I feel like he's always rushed (my medicine check up with him was literally like 5 minutes) and doesn't actually know who I am at all...maybe that's the price you pay for seeing someone who takes basically every insurance and patient?
I like his office. It feels like walking in very cozy private apartment. I only wish he spend a bit more time with me
He really listened to what I was saying and his responce was very subtle and very tuned to my needs in an approach that I felt was very thorough. I most definitely look forward to my next appt, in continuing on a path inorder to allow more piece to enter my life! William Hay
Bit impatient, does not usually have time for a relaxed conersation, but medications he has suggested have worked well so far!
it was very good.
Excellent professional, was clear and impressive with his insights and recommendations, inspired full confidence in me.
This doctor loves to prescribe meds but isn't so great with the bed-side manner. After 6 months, he still doesn't know my name.
I was very unhappy with my visits to this office. I spoke with the doctor for less than a few minutes each time and even found that he talked over me.
Dr. Kremberg took the time to understand my situation and he seems very experienced and to have superior knowledge of his speciality.
Dr. Kremberg spent less than ten minutes with me which mainly consisted of him pushing prescriptions. His office is a revolving door of patients.
Dr. Kremberg is a fantastic doctor and has an encyclopedic knowledge of phycho-pharmacology and medicine in general. A fantastic meds manager and sincere pro.
Very sensitive, he seemed to really care about what was going on in my life. I am definitely going to be seeing him long term! Have an appointment in 3 weeks.
Unusual; but helpful
My second appointment with this provider was so terrible I will not be going back. I had a simple issue obtaining a prescription and he did not return any of my calls. I scheduled and appointment when my medication ran out and the office staff was incredibly nasty to me when I calmly asked them for help getting my prescription called in. He does not concern himself with these matters and does not get to know his patients, my visit consisted of him asking me if I needed anything and then leaving me to be attacked by his secretaries. I strongly advise against using this provider.
He may be a bright man who deals with a lot of tough cases but he didn't listen to what I had to say, and I would not recommend him at all, I'm sorry to say.
Very helpful and efficient - two things not often seen at the same time in doctors. I was in and out quickly, but without feeling like I was being tossed to the side. Also, office staff were very welcoming and kind.
He was pleasant.
What a lovely soul. I'm so thankful I chose Dr. Kremberg.
Traumatizing experience. Very stuffy office. Not friendly or welcoming atmosphere. Uncomfortable is the only way to describe it. If you need help, go elsewhere.
Very impressed, I have only been once, but he took his time, and throughly listened to me.
Super professional & pleasant staff. The doctor was quite thorough & made me feel at ease. Listened to my issues & made it clear that we're going to try all options until we find something that's efficient & I'm comfortable with.
Good for an emergency visit or two. Not good for building a long-term relationship.
First of all, this "Doctor's" office is also his residence which was very cluttered with personal affects etc. which made it seem a little unprofessional. The session was very quick and Dr. Kremberg's mind seemed to be somewhere else. He quickly rattled off some questions to confirm that I was not a schizophrenic and then prescribed me meds for my insomnia and ocd. I never ended up filling the prescriptions and was able to overcome my insomnia and ocd on my own. I never went back again.
Was thorough and kept on task. Asked lots of questions. Staff was very friendly. The whole office made you feel you were welcome and they would take good care of you.
My issue is not directly with Dr. Kremberg during sessions, but rather the staff within the office. My issues with his staff are three fold. 1 - They never answer the phone. Due to this confirming an appointment time is utterly impossible. 2 - I called when I needed a refill of my RX prior to my next appointment. Even after leaving 7 messages over the course of 2 weeks, I never heard from either the Dr. or his staff. This left me without my RX. When I finally did get them on the phone they were extremely rude and hostle. At one point, the admin even said to me "what?! do you think you are our only patient? I can't return every single phone call." Due to this, I was left without a RX for 3 weeks. 3 - I was overcharged for my visits. It wasn't till I received information in the mail from my health care provider that this came to light. I'm still waiting on my reimbursement and I'm sure I'll have to continue to call and harp until this is resolved. It is difficult to find a Dr. that you feel comfortable with and trust. Unfortunately, even through I liked Dr. K his staffing issues have forced me to find another doctor. If I can't rely on receiving my medications consistently and have my questions/concerns answered, I can't continue to visit the Dr.
He texted and picked up the phone during my session.
I agree with most comments here. Dr. Kremberg is able to listen and show concern but if you expect more, you're looking for a therapist, not a psychiatrist. His expertise is in psychopharmacology but he respects your opinion of your internal state. It's a bit frustrating that I couldn't get to ZocDoc and the office didn't call me back, however...
I like Dr. Kremberg. I think you need to be very clear with what is going on with you and what you are asking for, because the office is very busy. I wrote down my diagnosis and medication history before my appointment so I could give it to him. He gave me my current medication as well as new ones to try to tweak what's going on for me. You have to be willing to take responsibility for trying your medication and reporting back to him. For me it works because I am well educated in psychopharmacology and willing to have some freedom to experiment, but it might not be a good approach for everyone.
He listened so carefully to what i was saying and made me realize i will get better by seeing him.
Dr. K and his staff are the consummate professionals. He is definitely not a pill pusher, but certainly a practical and compassionate meds manager.
Seemed extremely intelligent and knowledgeable of his field. He really wants to help cure your problems ASAP rather than help you slowly and milk you for your money with more follow up appointments. Best psychiatrist I have ever been to and I have been to many!
Absolutely outstanding professional. Wonderful way to connect with you and make you feel at ease. And his staff is equally outstanding.
Dr Kremberg and his staff were very friendly, professional and approachable. I felt that he asked appropriate questions and was responsive to my needs.
I would recommend doctor Kremberg. I felt very comfortable talking to him.
He was attentive, quick, and to the point. Great for a first meeting.
Only prescribes meds. Does not offer therapy.
The office is amazing! He is warm and welcoming and efficient. I look forward to working with him.
knowledgeable- good beside manner- would recommend.
I liked Dr K but when I needed to speak with his office manager about prescriptions and my follow-up, I did not receive any calls back. This has been about two weeks, and I couldn't even get a reminder of the follow-up. Now on ZocDoc it shows a three week wait, which would be five weeks later than when he wanted me to return.
I read a lot of negative feedback, but after much anxiety was pleasantly surprised with my appointment. I suffer from major depression disorder and have been battling with this for over six years. After getting past the initial rude guard at the desk downstairs and figuring out the whereabouts of the office, I sat down in the waiting room and a few minutes later was greeted with paperwork. I would definitely suggest arriving early if you're a new patient, because I had to fill out a lot of forms, some of which had been photocopied so many times that the edges were cut off. Regardless of this off-putting paperwork and the eclectic/outdated waiting room, I figured I'd at least continue and give it a shot. By the way, their office does not take credit cards, so I'm glad that I brought cash for my co-pay. Dr. Kremberg was direct, but knowledgeable and honest in his approach. He doesn't seem like the type of guy who will hold your hand and listen to your problems, but more of a pharmacologist who is there to manage your medications. I was happy with his assessment and although I did leave the office (which I believe doubles as his apartment, but he does have both a separate waiting room, home office, and consult room) with four prescriptions, they were mainly to ween me off of my current medications and onto just one pill. I have another appointment in a few weeks and will write another review, especially in regards tothe medication. I can't speak for other cases, but for depression, he seems like a good doctor with a solid working knowledge of the medications in the mental health industry.
Dr. Kremberg actually cured my problem and saved my relationship.
Great experience being that I had a previous diagnosis and medication regimen that was working for me. Dr. K. confirmed previous diagnosis and provided new insight to my condition. He made good suggestions and did not try to add or switch medication/s unless I needed it. Dr. K. is exactly the psychiatrist I was looking for; however, I can understand other reviews that recommend seeing a different doc for psychotherapy and/or "talk therapy". The phone and doorbell rang quite a bit which was somewhat distracting, but for brief medication reviews Dr. K. is great and very knowledgeable!
Successful
Very easy to talk to and very professional.
overall wonderful experiance
Dr. Kremberg worked with me on figuring out insurance concerns. He is thoughtful, considerate and genuine. He worked with me towards resolving several queries that had long been bothering me in the first session. His office is definitely of the old school ilk- which I was not prepared for- more used to being in medical sterile offices. But there is something nice about being in the doctors office that has wood floors and books.
