Dr. Lynch received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas San Antonio; she then continued her education at University of Houston earning
her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2010. Her graduate education included specialized training in LASIK, PRK and other surgeries while on rotation in Schweinfurt, Germany. Her other externship focused on ocular disease and glaucoma in Dallas, TX.
She is licensed as a therapeutic optometrist in both Texas and California. Dr. Lynch is proficient with the most up to date optometric equipment and technology, including paperless electronic medical records. She participates in continuing education courses each year in order to expand her knowledge, particularly in the area of specialty and difficult contact lens fits. She maintains affiliations with the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and the Optometric Women’s Network.
Dr. Lynch’s favorite pastime is traveling; she is always looking for the next opportunity to add new stamps to her passport, she hopes to include Japan and Australia in her future trips. Although originally from central Texas, she has always loved San Francisco, and is very excited about her recent relocation. She is looking forward to exploring the city, volunteering her time with local vision screenings and becoming an all around active member of the bay area! …
