I thought the Dr, and her entire staff were fabulous. What impressed me most was that they ran a bunch of tests and by the time I met with the Dr she already had most of the results in her hand to discuss.

Great doctor! Very friendly, professional, and actually quite funny as well.

Dr. Gafanovich is a wonderful doctor. She took a full history and listened attentively to everything I had to say..and I had a lot to say! Most doctors cut you off and rush you out of the office. She sent my blood work results to me the next day. I highly recommend her.

Great physician. Pleasant office staff, practically no wait time, and provided a very thorough physical. I was a new patient and I plan to stay with Dr. Gafanovich; she seems to really value her patients and the service she provides.

Dr. Gafanovich is always pleasant and attentive when I see her. She takes the time to answer any concerns I have and I do not feel like I am being rushed no matter how any patients are waiting. She treats you with the utmost importance and her bedside manner is excellent. I am happy to have found a Doctor who has a human side.

Dr. Gafanovich was really thorough. After going to, approximately, four doctors she was able to find what was happening to me. She would always follow-up with test results with promptness. The waiting time could be improved, but it's nothing to worry about or to make a fuzz about. Her expertise, knowledge and thoroughness is worth the wait. For referrals, she makes sure you get out of her office with a great specialist and personally resolves any issues with other doctor's offices, insurance and even hospitals. Great work, great doctor!

Dr. Gafanovich was very nice and I think she was thorough and caring in her own russian way. Her faciilities have everything and I immediately had bloodwork which was amazing. I will definitely go back next time Im ill.

She was really great, and really cared about my problems. She listened,and immediately got me a colleague for specialist referral. That said, she also did a bunch of extra tests that probably didnt need to be done, but helps her to pay the bills. So there's that!

As a first time patient, I had every reason to be nervous about a new Primary care physician. The doctor's friendly manner, thorough physical, and highly skilled staff put my worries at ease. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great Doctor on Manhattan's East side.

It was quite thorough, but I guess that isn't a bad thing. I needed a TB test done for work and I received a physical which included, urine test, blood test, ekg, etc. I was impressed with how quick I was seen. My last PCP, I sat in the little room for 30mins + each time and this time I was seen within 2 minutes of sitting in the little room. I really hate needles and being poked, but the nurse knew what she was doing and she was also quite nice. The doctor was also nice and professional. She explained all of my test results. Everyone was caring. The receptionist treated everyone there with respect. I'd recommend. Oh and I was 15mins late because i thought my appt was at 12:45 and they didn't give me a hard time!

Excellent, very convenient was able to get me a same day ultrasound. Would recommend Dr Gafanovich to anyone!

Very professional, very easy to talk to (unlike typical doctor) even during first visit. Pace was relaxed and unhurried. Strong technical competence. Seemed to genuinely enjoy her work (unusual). Staff were pleasant and easy to deal with. Affiliated with NYPresbyterian, a big plus.

Dr Gaganovich is great. She is very thorough, listen and ask questions. She cares for her patients.I highly recommend her.

She was very accommodating and it was easy to make an appointment.

The wait was a bit longer than I experienced during my annual physical last year. However on the plus side, the office has received a facelift which was needed. As always, Dr. Gafanovich is pleasant and takes the time to go over the results with you and if there are results that are not immediately available, she calls to let you know - good or bad. That is not a common practice, most doctors I've seen in the past simply tell you that if you don't hear anything, it means that everything is fine - sometimes you just can't trust that.

I'm a new patient of Dr. Gafanovich and went in for an annual physical. The exam was very thorough, including chest xrays, EKG, hearing test, lung capacity test and the standard blood and urine tests. She took the time to listen to my questions and give thorough explanations. The thing that can be improved is the wait time.

Finally a doctor in NYC who cares! SO refreshing! I highly recommend her, and everyone who worked in her office was very pleasant and courteous as well. Definitely keeping her as my new PCP.

Been here a few times. Sometimes I have to wait awhile but other times they see me right away. Like most place it depends how busy they are. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Ive never had a problem. Dr. Marina is thorough and nice.

Dr. Gafanovich is hands down the most sincere, dedicated and caring doctor I have been to. I actually had to see her prior to my appointment as I was sick. Her staff got me in and I am much better. In fact the office called me today to see how I was feeling. The medical profession needs more individuals like Dr. Marina Gafanovich

This was my first visit, and I was surprised that I was given a complete physical, which I liked.. I really was only going to see for my blood pressure. The end result for me, I am keeping her now as my main & primary doctor. Very happy...............

They had me wait for 25min undressed! The doctor did not even apologize for the situation and the fact that no one checked or informed me during that time. When I to.d her that she should be aware of this poor service, she responded that I was the only one who did not like their service!!! ( to proud, I guess!!) will never return!

The receptionist is whom I had the biggest issue with. I wanted to change the specialist to whom the doctor referred me to, and when I let the receptionist know she made an unnecessary snide comment about it. The following day when I called about my blood work, she was extremely rude and and off-putting and pretty much hung up on me mid sentence. These things, unfortunately, make doctors inaccessible to patients and make patients uncomfortable to be in control of their health, and I will therefore will not be returning. Someone needs to let her know that is not how you treat patients. I also would have liked the doctor to tell me exactly what was going to be happening, as I feel that some unnecessary tests were done in office without explanation.

Dr. Gafanovich listens and take care about patient concenrs. My first impresion after my first visit was very good and pleasant. I feel that after months of looking to find a good professional, finally I find the right one.

Dr. Gafanovich was very nice. Her staff was also excellent. Her med tech, and Yelena at the front desk were very pleasant. Dr. Gafanovich has a very nice office, it is in a pleasant atmosphere. She has great bedside manner. She is a great Doctor, and came highly recommended to me.

Not impressed !!

I went to see Dr Gafanovich about a month ago and and never heard back in terms of any results or follow up as she had promised to do. Further, while the lab tests seemed thorough, the doctor only saw me for about 2 minutes and was not thorough at all. There was no examination of the patient and I left with the feeling that there was no way the doctor would have any idea about what was going on with me.

Personable, respectful and informative staff and doctor. Clean and private office and exam rooms. Longer wait time was probably not the norm. Will have to see on my next visit.

Recent office upgrades-pulling out the old carpet and painting the walls really changed the feel of the place. Got a call within 36 hours to update me on my bloodwork.

Wonderful and very passionate doctor

I made an appointment with this doctor today because I had a terrible sore throat. I called to confirm my appointment and the secretary did not tell me that they wouldn't treat me unless I had a physical with them. I went to the office and waited about 15 minutes until the secretary told me that unless I switched to Dr. Gafanovich as my primary physician and have a physical on the spot she would not treat me. They were extremely unprofessional and I felt like they were trying to scam me!

Not satisfied with the experience. Never been to an office where they don't ask you why you're there. Nurse rushed you in the exam room without asking why you're there and makes assumptions that you're there for a physical... since I hadn't had one in a while I went along... she started testing me and took blood work. Didn't even care to ask what sort of test I was hoping to get. In fact, they forgot to do a urine test and had to come back to take it. Overall experience was a rush job without much explaining. The best part was the call back - got a call from the nurse. All she said was your tests were ok - Had no idea what tests were done b/c she never said in the first place. Also, didn't get back with me on other tests that I had requested done... over a month now. Will go to another provider as I don't have confidence in the work that was done.

Wait time was unbelievable. I had an appointment and they still made me wait 45 minutes. The doctor was nice enough, but nothing remarkable.

I think she is an excellent PCP. My checkup was fast and comprehensive and used technology smartly. Dr. Gafanovich spent an appropriate amount of time explaining everything clearly and answering my questions. She followed up with test results 2 days later, again spending all the time needed to help me understand clearly what she'd learned.

This doctor's office has been the worst experience I have ever had. They made me wait more than 30 minutes for an appointment, the office was a mess and male construction workers were walking around while I was in a gown, and they incorrectly charged me twice while giving me the run-around about my bill for almost 6 months. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor's office that is professional

She was perfectly friendly, but I had issues with the insurance -- they charged me hundreds out of pocket for services rendered. Not sure why. It was incredibly frustrating dealing with their office.

Am very happy with Dr. Gafanovich. She became my PCP after finding her on ZocDoc. She's got a very caring manner and a good office team. Usually don't have to wait too long and she always gives me her full attention once she's in the room with me. I also like that she tells me my options and then will give me her opinion by saying, "If you were my family, this is what I would do..." It's a helpful perspective to have, but it still let's me decide what's right for me.

Dr. Marina Gafanovich has great attitude and a very friendly and caring demeanor. She tries to listen to you starting from setting an appointment time and finishing with an honest smile when you leave. Her professional advice is precise and up to the point. I'm grateful she made me undergo an annual physical - didn't do one for ages! The staff is very polite and knowledgeable - could not find a better service. The office is 5 star in terms of location and convenience. I'd recommend this doctor without a single doubt.

It was great...was seen right away and she satisfied all my concerns.

So far everything has been great. I went today for my initial patient physical; I moved to NYC last summer and needed a PCP. They were fast and efficient but friendly. Dr. Gafanovich, the radiology tech/medical assistant, and the secretary were all very warm and friendly. Everyone answered my questions appropriately and encouraged me to ask more if necessary. I've never had such a thorough exam and array of tests all in 45 minutes with almost no wait. I felt very comfortable and will be going back.

Great personality

When I get cold and start coughing, I don’t pay a great deal of attention to that cause usually it goes away. Now I understand I shouldn’t do like this. Cause my coughing turned so strong that sometimes I couldn’t stop, I thought I would cough out my lungs and eyes. That was sth terrible. So I visited those nyc doctors I’d once been to. And they helped me once again. Simple recommendations, a simple drug, two days and it helped a lot. Thank you guys once again. Now I recommend you to everyone.

Marina and her staff are very kind, caring and understanding when it comes to your medical issues. Marina Gafanovich puts you at ease and takes a genuine interest in your concerns, she will find the answers to your questions and come up with an action plan. She is a very experienced doctor who can always give a useful advice. My sister had thyroid gland problems which prevent her from being pregnant. Dr. Gafanovich regulated the level of her hormones and now I am helping her with her baby!! Many thanks to Dr Marina Gafanovich.

Friendly - and thorough - glad I found her!

Dr. Gafanovich was extremely thorough with a pre-surgical exam I needed. I also found her to be very attentive to my health history and to precautions she felt would be beneficial to me. As a result of my initial appointment with her, I have made her my primary care physician. I also find her office staff to be very helpful and responsive.

The doctor was nice. Not dressed traditionally except for the white coat. Not enough cool air in the exam rooms! I was very hot and after my physical was done by the PA (?) I was waiting a bit in that hot room. While the exam room felt antiquated and like a storeage room, they did chest x-ray, bloodwork, ECG etc all on the spot. She was great sharing my results with me then and via mail so I can understand everything and have it to reference and great to refer me based on my conversation with her. PAs should really introduce themselves. We have to get naked for an exam-the least we can do is have the name of the person sticking us with a needle while in a paper gown.

Very through and understanding, will be returning!
