All the doctors we have seen at this practice have been good. But each time I have tried to schedule with Zoc Doc, someone calls me and gives me some reason why I can't schedule that particular type of appt through ZocDoc, which they link to from the practice website. Don't waste your time with online scheduling; just call.

I arrived early (at 3:05 PM) for a 3:30 PM appointment, in order to fill in a bunch of forms. That took about 20 minutes! By 3:25 I was done with the forms, and ready to be seen. I wasn't called in until 3:55 PM. I had resolved that, at 4 PM, I was going to demand the return of my forms and I was going to leave. Fortunately, this was just a routine visit, and I could have done that without suffering any health consequences. You give the wait time three stars. I give it only one star.

Dr. Dettelbach is very patient and thorough. I didn't feel rushed, or like I was being "pushed through" the appointment. He listened to all of my symptoms without interruption and actually listened to my answers to his questions, which a lot of doctors don't do. I would definitely refer anyone looking for an ENT specialist to Dr. Dettelbach.

I like Dr. Detelbach very much but the rest of the staff left much to be desired. No one introduced themselves even the assistant Donna that tried to work on me. Only after I asked her name and asked her what she was doing. I had to stop her to ask because I was not comfortable or confident in her since she gave me no indication or direction. Once I saw Dr. Dettelbach all my concerns were immediately taken care of. He is completely professional and I now no better than to trust his staff.

He was very capable and informative. He had my ear symptoms checked out immediately by a colleague and then returned to me afterwards with the results. However, be prepared to give your symptoms quickly and to take charge of any follow up. Also, it was hard to grasp all the directions he gave out very quickly. Overall, I was satisfied with the visit.

He was very attentive and paid attention when I described my symptoms. He did tests on the spot to determine what was ailing me, and didn't make me set up another appointment to do those, which is very nice. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ENT doctor.

Nurses (could've been PAs) and staff are friendly and helpful. Unlike many other doctors, Dr. Dettelbach did not rush through the exam, and he took time to answer my questions.

I was very impressed. Dr. Dettelbach, as anyone can tell from his resume, is well trained and highly intellegent. As a practitioner, he is thoughtful, took time to ask several questions, listened to my questions,and made skillful use of a nasopharyngoscope without causing any discomfort.

The office tends to run a little late, but in this case, it was justified-some little kid had some foreign object stuck in his ear, and it was a multi-doctor effort to remove it, haha. I've been going to Dr. Dettelbach for over 10 years now, and he's great-he works with all of my health concerns, and is good about recommendations to other doctors when necessary-he's good at diagnosing, and also does not dismiss my thoughts on my health, which is important.
