Dr. Mikhail is not only knowledgeable and helpful but a genuinely sweet person as well. I came in for the acne that's troubled me for years, and after listening to me attentively and examining my skin, she said, "I know what's missing from your life," and I said, "Tell me," and she proceeded to explain topical retinoids with a cute little diagram, gave me some directions, and showered me with free samples of the medication. Any derm would certainly have recommended the same treatment, but I doubt the experience could compare. The receptionist was also incredibly nice, and the office is beautiful.

Everything about Spring St. Dermatology was fantastic. The receptionist was very friendly, the office was welcoming, clean, bright, with they offered refreshments while you wait. I had a 10:30 appointment and was seen by 10:45 (the 15 minutes I spent filling out new patient forms.) While my consultation with Dr. Mikhail didn't last very long, she was very personable and thorough. I just moved to NYC and all of a sudden started breaking out after living in much less polluted and congested New England, and Dr. Mikhail referred to my case as "New York acne." She explained how outside factors triggered it and gave me samples to try, telling me to email her if I had any questions. Great visit, great office, great doctor. Highly recommended.

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Maryann Mikhail, and could not be more pleased with my experience. I was really concered about a mole that had suddenly looked strange, and I had been putting off my annual skin check anyway, so I logged into ZocDoc to check on Dr. Mikhail's earliest availability. To my amazement, I was able to get an appointment that very day, which I've never before experienced with a doctor's office. Dr. Mikhail took the time to explain the procedure she'd use to remove the mole, which was quick and painless. She also performed a thorough skin check and was patient in answering my (numerous!) questions. I left feeling a lot more informed and at ease. I could not recommend Dr. Mikhail and Spring Street Dermatology more highly - I wish that more doctors' offices could run the same way. The offices are super-clean and modern, the staff is helpful and efficient, and Dr. Mikhail is excellent.

Really phenomenal experience - especially given the amount of pain I was in. The staff was super professional and friendly, and Dr. Mikhail was fantastic. I was extremely anxious about my skin, which had just flared up unexpectedly - I wasn't sure what it was, why it was happening, whether it was a symptom of problems outside skin, and had to run tests to find out. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Mikhail was calming, telling me exactly what was happening, her ideas of the possibilities, and checking up on me even when we didn't have an appointment in the future scheduled via email, answering my questions and checking in on my progress. As someone who has never had an appointment with a dermatologist, I was slightly apprehensive when I walked into Dr. Mikhail’s office. Upon entering the office, I immediately felt more at ease, as the office was much warmer and more inviting than other doctor offices I had been to. I felt even better when I met Dr. Mikhail. She gave me a through explanation of what the steps were going to be for the procedure I was about to undergo. Once we began the procedure, Dr. Mikhail paid constant attention to my comfort level, making sure that the procedure was painless and worry free. After several minutes she informed me that the procedure was complete, and proceeded to give me detailed information for my aftercare. My experience with other medical professionals has been that there is more of an emphasis on getting the patient in and out and on to the next one, but my experience with Dr. Mikhail could not have been further from the norm. After she gave me thorough instructions for what steps I should take to ensure a speedy recovery, she personally saw me out and made me feel like the only patient in the world, despite the fact that the waiting room was abuzz with more patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Mikhail to friends and family, as well as anyone who is looking for a stellar skin experience!

After being dissatisfied with several dermotologists throughout the city I was lucky to have found Dr. Mikhail.
