Professional Statement

I am originally from Romulus, MI and have had all my training within Michigan. I attend a local Church in Dearborn, MI and get involved in activities there. I like to spend time with my family, garden in my backyard, go for bike rides, go to the beach, travel, and relax whenever possible. I have one sister and one brother, 3 nieces and one nephew, a support mom & dad and in-laws. I have two sons and a wonderfully hard working husband. Life is crazy with all that we work.
I perform all of the standard OBGYN procedures including hysterectomies—especially the vaginal type without any abdominal incisions, endometrial ablations for heavy bleeding, diagnostic laparoscopies for evaluation of pelvic pain, masses, and infertility; in-office placement of intrauterine devices for contraception or heavy bleeding; routine pap smears and follow up of any abnormalities, including ablative techniques of genital warts.
I am trained in Osteopathic Medicine which has an overall holistic undertone while attending to routine prescription of medicines including bio-identical and custom made hormones, birth control, medical management for endometriosis. In addition, Osteopaths are also trained in manipulation of the body so that structure supports function. I have aided women with relief for interstitial cystitis, pelvic pain, infertility, hemorrhoids, rib pain, and back pain with using only my hands, sometimes avoiding radiological studies and unnecessary medications that other doctors might give. Osteopathy may not treat everything but it’s one of the tools I carry as an OBGYN to help my patients.
I have attended the national American College of Osteopathic OBGYN and American Congress of OBGYN annual and semi-annual conferences when I can.
