your team is wonderful
I found him to be a very personable doctor and he answered any questions that you might have. You didn't get the feeling like he was trying to rush you in and out. He has a calming effect on the patient.
Dr. Friedman was very professional and informative. My appointment was an educational experience well appreciated.
The visit met my expectations, but the wait time was way too long. A number of other patients in the office where visibly frustrated by this as well.
I will definitely return to Dr.Friedman. Instantly made me feel comfortable. I also think the staff is very friendly and personable. Thank You
It was the most thorough MD visit I have ever had. I appreciate the detailed examination and the efficiency with which I moved from one part of the exam to the other.
I thought he was very considerate and thoughtful about my medical issues.
Very warm and caring physician. Easy to talk to and he listened to my concerns
organized, professional, timely appointment.
Thought he was thorough & seemed confident that he would be able to help me.
Extremely knowlegable and helpful.
Wonder people! Get service from start to finish. Explained everything completely. Made me feel comfortable the entire time. Fantastic Doctor and Staff.
Excellent - I always recommend Dr. Friedman to my family & friends for any ENT issues. His expertise and friendliness are 5-stars!
Organized office staff, everyone was friendly and profressional.
He was very nice and explained the whole procedure and he even asked several times if I had any questions. I appreciated that since some Doctors don't seem interested in your questions. He's very warm and still maintains his professionalism.
Dr Dixon was amazing! He was patient and understanding and he knew my anxiety level was high and handled it in a very professional and caring way. He's super brilliant and put my fears to ease.
1. No waiting 2. Very knowledgeable
Dr Friedman is an excellent Doctor - one of the best!
excellent
One physician walked into the office and didn't both to introduce himself. I had to ask him his name. Very little time was given to discuss my situation. A decision was made by the staff without any explaination as to why one procedure was chose over others until I asked about it. No success rate of effectiveness for the procedure chosen was discussed until I brought it up. I felt the experience was unsatisfactory and rushed.
Unbelievably good service! Highest quality medical care, too.
excellent
Organized, thorough, and expeditious.
Great. No complaints.
He was excellent
Dr. Friedman is great! I've been a patient of his for over 10 years and have no complaints.
I respect his opinion. I appreciate his explaining what he wants to do to further diagnose my situation. I trust he will be thoughtful and will communicate with me about the findings on the various tests. And, finally, he is good at listening to my thoughts about my situation and my symptoms.
Staff is very professional and helpful.
I've read a lot about the doctor and heard positive things from my primary care doctor, what I didn't expect was the entourage of assistants following him around on my visit. Okay he may have been turning this into a teachable moment but someone should have asked was I okay with.
I had a very good experience with my first appointment and am hoping the follow ups will be the same.
I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Friedman's office. He is very warm and kind and does a great job! I have already recommended others to his office.
Everything is very organized and everyone is on the same page. The computerization of each patient is a plus.
He is truly professional and has a great bedside manner!
I have been his patienbt for 14 years and have sent many people to him as patients. He is the best in chicago and I've been to most of them previously!! He is very thorough.
Dr Friedman is awesome. He takes the time to explain everything very well and makes sure that all questions are answered. I am so completely impressed with Dr. Friedman and his staff.
Had to wait quite a bit longer than scheduled appointment (almost an hour). Felt a bit rushed during appointment so couldn't convey all of my concerns to the doctor. However, the doctor is familiar with and has treated LPR, something many other ENTs aren't familiar with.
Overall, my first appointment went very well. Everyone was nice and quite professional. I was surprised that Dr. Friedman didn't conduct the exam, as my appointment was with him, but the doctor who saw me was absolutely fine.
Dr. Friedman was very thorough and was excellent at explaining the procedures.
AS ALWAYS, seeing dr. friedman and/or dr. v, was nothing but professional, diagnostic and hopeful. my experience with staff this time, however, was kind of kooky. i really felt shuffled around by myriad people - front desk and office mgr. (my insurance is odd) - then front desk sending me to "checkout" prior to appt. to pre-pay since i have odd insurance and haven't yet met deductible amount - but didn't tell me there were TWO checkout windows - so i stopped at the first one i came to and waited and waited and waited ... ONLY to have another staff person (in the hallway) ask if she could help me ... and pointed me to the other side of a partition to a check out person. ... she had to also get answers from someone else to, what i thought, were pretty straightforward questions (i.e., "will this amount i'm paying you today be applied to my deductible?") ... and move to this room, now this room, now this room, you're done and OUT the door ... it was more frenetic than any previous appointment and was a bit off-putting. however, i wanted to see the best ENTs in town ... and i did just that.
Entire staff was very friends and Doctors were very professional. Waiting time was not ideal before seeing Doctor and while waiting in the room. Entire visit was over 2 hours.
The "wait time" rating above is misleading. Dr. Friedman is great, but the whole process of the office is crazy hectic, maybe because it's Columbus Day, I don't know. But I got there at 9:45 and didn't walk out til 11:45 - and most of that time was spent waiting between a 3-minute exam, a 2-minute video, and a brief (maybe 5-minute) consultation. So, of my 2 hours there today, more than 1 hour and 45 minutes was waiting time. It's disrespectful.
I saw Dr friedman and Dr LaVey. Both are great
Very informative...treated me with respect and care. Great at explaining the issues and options. Highly recommended.
everything was good untill the end i would still be waiting on talking to the Dr. of the results of the hearing test if i would have not asked.
He was a good listener, really understood my situation and offered realistic options.
Dr. Friedman was terrific. It's truly an asset to the practice and to his patients.
Dr.Friedman has been doing this for quite a long time now and did my two sinus surgerys as well, i would think he is the best ENT doctor in the US, clever and brilliant.
This is the 4th ENT I've seen for a recurring problem I've had for years. Dr. Friedman is the first one to not only give me real hope of finding a solution, but actually acted like he cared about solving it. I've been dismissed and treated like dirt by previous doctors, so this was a really great experience and I have hope for the first time in years.
Dr.Friedman is a caring, compassionate physician. He listens to the patient and answers all questions in a way that one can understand. I have referred patients in the past and will continue to refer in the future. The entire staff at his office is professional and very efficient. Thank you Dr.Friedman, I feel better already, just seeing you, that was really good medicine for me.
I had a great experience with my inital visit and am confident that the group will be able to help solve my sinus issues!
He is very friendly and my first appointment with him was more effective than 3 visits with my previous ENT. I feel like I am in good hands with Dr. Friedman :)
Would have liked a little better explaination of surgery that was recomended. Video was fine but lacks the option of persoanl questions.
Michael Friedman was very friendly and was willing to answer any questions I had. His vast experience is evident right away
I liked him a lot. He was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable.
Very thorough, very attentive, very willing to answer questions and explain options. The other people in the office, Dr. LeVay and all the techs and office staff, were also professional and pleasant. The one glitch with not faxing over my prescription to my drugstore was remedied quickly with an appropriate apology. All in all, I was impressed.
very thorough and personable
I think he's a caring and very qualified doctor.
I was very impressed. Since it was my first visit I arrived a few minutes early but I was seen at the exact time of my appointment. Every staff member that I came in contact with was friendly and professional.
Glad I got a referral to see him regarding my thyroid issue. He is a very experienced doctor. The whole office staff where extremely nice, helpful and caring.
He's the best in his field.
Absolutely an expert in sleep issues. He is thoughtful and listens carefully to what you say, not just offering his viewpoint as, sadly, many medical professionals are wont to do.
The staff was super organized. The best part was the thyroid biopsy that I was concerned about was not painful and done in the office very quickly. That was not the previous experience I had at another facility.
I felt like I was being rushed as I was herded from room to room for this test and that. The exam room doors were always kept ajar if not fully open so as to give the impression that there wasn't time to ask questions. (I could hear other patient's conversations with their doctors!) I have to come back for 4 more visits (read 4 more co-pays) before a plan can be formed. (CT, nasal PH test and allergy testing and another appointment with the doctor.)The doctor seemed knowledgeable and nice.
Very pleased. Dr. Friedman treets his pacients in a personal way, shakes hands, etc. Other don't even worry about it. Enrique Carlos.
Fantastic. Very little waiting. Very knowledgeable staff.
He is quick to review patient then leave for another, No "hand holding" by Dr. Friedman.
He has great bedside manner... And the staff was a pleasure as well:)
I believe Dr. FRiedman knows his stuff, but I felt like I was being ushered from room to room and needed five minutes of the doctor's time to discuss my situation. Every time he started to talk to me, he suddenly excused himself and left. The first time I saw him we discussd two surgies that I would need. The second time, he said I would need one procedure and then said I would need a different second procedure. I wanted to discuss it with him but he kept dissapearing.
took great care in explaining options and ideas
It was good. He was very professional. He went to work right away as soon as he saw me. He really took time to understand my concerns.
He was totally super, and I was very worried about making a non-standard decision about my surgery. He listened and made sure I understood the decision, but was very understanding. I haven't had surgery yet, but I feel very comfortable with him as my doctor.
Kind caring Doctor. Good with patients Listens to your problem and explains his treatment clearly. Would recommand him to anyone who wants the best and most professonial Doctor.
I had to wait close to 2 hours to be seen.
I felt like I was in an ENT factory! I was passed along to three different doctors. Friedman promised a "thorough" exam; never happened. Two and one-half hours seems over the top for wax removal. I received three reminders (phone, text, email) about my appointment time, but waited one hour in the main lobby.
It was a very good visit and good results.my ear problem was take care of.
Great doctor, great staff. Highly recommended.
I am very lucky and happy that I made an appointment with Dr. Michael Friedman and his very capable associates. Everyone I came in contact with at the very modern facilty I was highly impressed with. When it comes to Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) I feel that I went to the Professional's Professional in the field. I was greatly impressed as to how I was treated!!!!
Dr Friedman made me feel cared for as a Doctor should!
It was a very good experience I was in and out and was satisfied with the service I receieved. The wait time before we were seen was less than 15 min. The staff was great.
Loved it. We felt that the doctors and office staff was very respectful and concurred with are comfort level regarding are diagnostic.
