It was great!! He was fast and straight to the point. Friendly and a clean office. He had a lot of patients which I understand it is a good reason to be in and out of the rooms quickly. BUT he did not leave without addressing all my concerns. I will keep him as my Dermatologist. He is also there on SUNDAY!! Very convenient schedule

I have the utmost faith and respect for Dr. Paltiel. He is highly knowledgeable and cuts to the chase. Be prepared with any questions or concerns. You do have his undivided attention, but he is ready to go to the next patient once the purpose of your visit is achieved.

He was pretty amazing he told me what was my proble why I was braking out what kind of acne I had and what was our plan to get my skin better . He's very nice

A Beautiful and very clean office with modern appointments greeted us in this, our first appointment with the Doctor. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Dr Paltiel took his time with our daughter (22 month old) and was extremely patient while she calmed down in the exam room. He was reassuring and knowledgeable and made the diagnosis simple to understand. We have happily found our family dermotologist.

My previous doctor was treating me for over a year with no real change in my condition with out concern .I went to Dr. Paltiel and he discussed all options . When we did not see results the Dr. was very concerned and made adjustment s to prescriptions . My face has now drastically changed for the better . I wish I would have gone to him sooner.

Great experience!! The doctor was very knowledgeable and professional. I did a lot of research before seeing a doctor and he had all the right credentials, i.e. best medical school etc. He examined my skin, made a diagnosis right away and explained everything I needed to know and do about my problem. No hassles just good solid care. I would most definetly recommend this doctor to my family and friends.

He is very professional in his line of work. He knew how to handle the situation with the problem at hand. He was very helpful with the problem.

My visit with Michael was horrible. I explained to him about my excessive hair loss at the beginning and he looked at my scalp and pulled my hair to see if a handful strand of hairs had fallen out. However, when he pulled my hair only one strand came out. I told him that in the past a dermatologist detected that I had seborrhea and gave me a shampoo for that. The situation is that this doctor did not care enough to do further examines to find out what the problem could be. I even told him that I'm the one that washes my own hair so I see how much falls out and he said, "Well if you're really concerned then maybe you should try rogaine for women." I couldn't believe it! This told me off the bat that this doctor does not care about the patient and the concerns they have. He was so unhelpful and I would not recommend him to no one.

The office is very beautiful. It almost feels as if you're not in Queens anymore. There is also good parking accomodations (which is generally a concern of mine). The front desk staff is polite and professional they greet everyone that walks in and out. Dr.Paltiel is very friendly and knowledgable. He was able to identify my skin conditions right away. He was thorough in his explanation and patient with all of my questions. He also gave samples of products he reccomended. I will definitely be a returning patient :)

Excellent. The doctor and staff were very attentive and explained everything well. I look forward to the next visit.

I waited for 35 minutes in the waiting room so that was slightly frustrating to me sepecially since my apointment was at 9am so I thought there would be no delay that early in the morning. However that was the only problem. Once I saw the doctor he w.as very informative and explained everything to me. He is the first doctor I have seen that I feel can actually help my skin (I have adult acne and very sensitive skin and rosacea). He didn't rush through and gave me samples and coupons for the prescriptions he wrote. The wait time was annoying but it wouldn't prevent me from seeing him again. Just bring a book!

what an amazing doctor! I went to 3 dermatologists who couldnt help me and after just a few minutes in the room, he knew exactly what i had and how to treat it. Very clean and sterile office. loved the experience and am looking foward to my follow up

Check-in was pretty quick and my wait time to see doctor was brief. Receptionist was helpful and pleasant. Dr. Paltiel listened to my concerns and addressed my questions in a respectful and professional manner. He devised a treatment plan and gave me instructions on prescription usage. My appointment was quick but effective. I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Paltiel for my skins issues.

It was just ok. The office was not kid friendly. If the wait would have been long, my daughter would have gotten bored. When I see pediatric attached to an office, I presume they will cater to children in a waiting area. The receptionist looked like she wanted to be somewhere else. Inside the room, I noticed a tray with medical tools on it and the white paper was dirty and the container as well.

As a new patient, I made sure to fill out all my paperwork before the appointment. I waited less than 15 minutes to see the doctor, and he knew right away what the problem was. Although it was a short appointment, I didn't feel rushed. The staff was very friendly and the office is very well kept.

Dr. Paltiel was very kind and came up with a diagnosis right away. There was another Dr. that we saw as well, and both Dr's came up with the same diagnosis to a rash. We were seen very quickly, waiting only a few minutes after getting all the forms filled out. Even upon entering the exam room, we were treated right away. No waiting endlessly for the Dr. to arrive. The appt was during the week in the morning, so perhaps that helped? He asked for a follow up in 2 weeks, but besides that we will definitely be back again as our new family dermatologist! He also sees children. Excellent Dr.

I was very satisfied with this doctor and his staff. I didn't wait long in the waiting room but did have to wait in the exam room longer then the time I spent in the waiting room. Overall, happy and will make an appt for my son.

Great Doctor. I'm very pleased with the experience and the results so far. I've seen Dr. Paltiel several times now for acne and now I can say that I love my skin. I'm getting a lot of compliments now on my skin and I recommended him to few of my friends whom he helped as well. Usually I don't wait too long to be seen but sometimes the office is really busy especially if I come on Sundays or evening hours. He is definitly worth the wait though.

Terrific doctor. Absulutely an expert in his field and I'm not surprised he was hightly recomended by my doctor. I went to another dermatogist where I waited for over 2 hours and couldn't get a clear diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Paltiel made a dianosis in less then a 30 seconds after talking to me and examining my skin. He explained to me everything I needed to know about the condition and prescribed a cream. The office is really nice and I was seen very quickly after registration. Would highly recommend this doctor to anyone who need a dermatologist.

He should take at least 5 mins to talk to a new patient. If I saw him for more than 2 mins, I would be lying. Overall, I received what I needed. His assistant is very nice.

Unlike too many dermatoligists who are trying to promote Botox etc, Dr. Paltiel focuses in on skin health. He is very reassuring.

I would recommend Dr. Paltiel to anyone who is seeking a dermatologist. He listens to your concerns and takes time to provide the treatment best suited for his patients. I did not have an appointment this morning however Dr. Paltiel still managed to see me (this is coming after the day after the July 4th holiday). His staff is very cordial and efficient as well.

Horrible receptionists and doctor doesn't stay to talk to the patients.

Dr. Paltiel seems to know what he's talking about. He's also very friendly as well as his assistant. I have a follow up appointment in 2 weeks, will see how this goes.

I felt like I was seeing the assistant, not the doctor. Assistant was nice, but was clearly trained by the doctor to follow a standard protocol to apply to each patient. The doctor is not interested in you as an individual. He hovered in the doorway 5 feet away from me near the end of my appointment for about sixty seconds before he rushed off.

Great doctor, seems genuine in his efforts to help. If you are able, I recommend going on the weekdays. You'll get more time with him for questions and explanations. The weekends are packed!! They share an office with two other doctors ( forest hills location) and there was no seats in the waiting room. I was on time and waited about 40 mins for a rushed 5 minute appointment. Fine for me since I already knew what I needed done but I'd probably be annoyed if I was a new client.

He was really helpful. He answered all my questions and explained everything really clear. He is a real professional, that shows care and compromise.

Great staff and very attentive!

It's a nice office, however, the doctor lacks any bedside manner. Talk about feeling rushed. Not even sure the doctor made eye contact once. In fact I wasn't able to ask him a question since he was running out the door as soon as he walked in. He has his staff come in to take notes on the computer about your appointment WHILE you are in the appointment. Add in a random medical student doing a rotation and you'll be in an atmosphere that feels like the opposite of private. Okay, it's a derm office, but still... Finally, check your insurance statement if you don't like to be billed for codes representing services that were not rendered. Won't be going back here again.

I loved everything about this office. They were prompt and Dr. Paltiel is very friendly and was able to help me right away. The only negative thing I would say is that his staff needs to smile a bit more, they all seemed like they hated being at work.

The visit was very brief and to the point. So far, his prescription treatment appears to be working. His assistant in the exam room was very friendly as well. I expect any subsequent visit may have less of a waiting time but, I know that filling information forms and aquiring insurance information may be slightly time consuming.

THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT AND THE OFFICE WAS BEAUTIFUL, VERY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT..THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY...I HAD A LIST MADE OUT TO SHOW THE DOC WHAT OTHER DERMATOLOGISTS HAD ME ON IN THE PAST...HE EXAMINED MY SKIN AND SAID HE BELIEVES I HAVE HORMONAL ACNE...HE GAVE ME INJECTIONS AND A PRESCRIPTION AND A CREAM..HE EXPLAINED WHAT IT ALL WAS AND WANTS TO SEE ME BACK IN 2 WEEKS...I AM GOING TO KEEP MY APPOINTMENT BECAUSE SO FAR SO GOOD..THE ONLY BAD ASPECT OF IT ALL THAT CAN BE A PROBLEM FOR SOME WOULD BE THE PARKING...IT IS IN AN AREA THAT HAS NONE...BUT I HOPE THIS DOESNT BRING ON A NEGATIVE EFFECT WITH THE DOC BECAUSE HE SEEMS LIKE HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING..

Dr. Paltiel had a good bedside manner with my young son. He was straight-forward with him about the procedure he was going to perform but also tried to distract him away from the discomfort he was obviously feeling.

I have been meaning to have an appointment with Dr. Paltiel since I seem to have had another episode of eczema/contact dermatitis. He gave me meds that worked right away which is amazing. So I am looking forward to my next appointment with him because I know he will help me figure out what's causing my skin breakouts.

Very dismissive and hurried. He wasn't interested in getting to know me as a patient or what were my concerns.

As always, Dr. Paltiel diagnosed the problem I was having and addresses it effectively.

Clean office, reasonable wait time, quick diagnosis and easy prescription. He seems to know what he's doing and simplifies your treatment. Any skin problems, he's a great doctor to see. Very happy with my visit.

Only one visit, hard to say much, but the doctor is very courteous, waiting time was not long, staff is polite.

I liked the doctor, he is a very nice guy and explains very well what's going on with your skin, etc. The only thing I didn't like about the appointment is that this assistant nurse stayed in the doctor's office for the whole time I was there, and it can be a little be unconfortable to sharing your issues with the doc with a third person there.

He was very friendly. He got right to the point and did what he had to do. The office was very clean although somewhat of an adventure to get to (you have to walk through a dentist waiting area, down the hallway and up the stairs). I would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience! My appointment was on time. Mr. Paltiel not only took care of my skin very well but answered all my questions in details.
