Professional Statement

At Doctors Express, we treat illness and injury. We will gladly refer patients who need Primary Care Services (e.g. OB-GYN, Cholesterol management, etc.) to an affiliated Primary Care Group.

Dr. Sthay is a Board certified physician with 25 years of experience in family and emergency medicine. He opened the urgent care center to provide the Seattle community with immediate, effective and affordable health care after hours, or when a patient's primary care physician is not available.

Working as an ER physician, Dr. Sthay realized how much a full service medical clinic could help patients with non life-threatening conditions, which would also relieve pressure on the ER. His mission is to be an integrated part of Seattle's healthcare solution, working with local physicians, hospitals and specialists to provide comprehensive care.

Dr. Sthay holds National Board Certification, Board Certification in Family Practice by the American Academy of Family Practice, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification. Dr. Sthay received his B.S. from Oregon State University, and his M.D. from Oregon Health & Sciences University. He completed his residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center. …
