Dr. Tran grew up in San Francisco and attended Harvard College, where he earned a Magna cum Laude in Biochemistry and received the Ames Award for Character and
Leadership. He earned his M.D. at Harvard Medical School, and then moved back to California, where he completed a Medicine internship at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, and an Ophthalmology residency at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Dr. Tran practices comprehensive ophthalmology, including treatment of cataract, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. He has published several articles about the application of computers in medicine, and is a Principle Investigator in a clinical trial for a new treatment for dry eye. He has received numerous awards, including a Physician Recognition Award from Monarch Healthcare for excellent service to patients and colleagues.…
