Pleasant appt. Just didn't appreciate the the long wait. This is very typical for beth israel unfortunately.

I dont like the wait in the beginnig but i believe its worth it since I dont feel rushed during my appointment and hes open to discussion about any issues I have and asks if i have any questions. Very kind and very comforting!

The visit went great. Dr. Via answered all my questions, and had a great bedside manner.

Dr Via is highly professional and respectful of his patients. He listens carefully and the follow up was timely.

Today was my 1st visit and 1st impressions are lasting impressions. Dr. Via was very professional & answered all my questions. I was very nervous because of past experience with other doctors. When I left I was at ease that I found my doctor. The staff are very pleasant & welcoming.

He is lovely. So glad I found him here. I would recommend highly to anyone. Seems very knowledgeable w/ regard to Graves Disease which is not a common autoimmune.

Dr. Via is great. He's very understanding of the challenges that come with endocrinological diseases, not judgmental and incredibly helpful. I would recommend him to ANY diabetic (I'm Type 1, and he's incredibly knowledgeable about all of my issues vs. Type 2) or anyone else who has thyroid or metabolic issues.

I've been seeing Dr. Via for several months to treat my Grave's Disease. He's very friendly and knowledgeable and always listens to what I have to say--he takes my goals for and concerns about my treatment into consideration. I think he's a great doctor and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Dr. Via was amazing. I've been cynical, because I was seeing another doctor for Graves Disease and was severely undertreated for a year. Dr. Via walked in and took one look at me and immediately opened up. He saw I was in distress and right away was looking for solutions, explaining to me just what exactly my body was doing but what got me was that he was so empathetic. He said he understood how awful I've been feeling, and that's really what I needed. To be validated. Its hard to say you're not feeling well when you don't look it. I went 6 months without a blood test or sonogram, and Dr Via did both in less than an hour. I can't tell you how much better I feel just knowing that he is taking action. Finally. I just wish I didn't want to rave about him so much because I want to keep him to myself. :)

Dr. Via is very professional and has an excellent bedside manner as well. He actually listens to his patients and really seems to care. He will answer all of your questions, no matter how long it takes, without you feeling rushed. I have the utmost respect for him and would recommend him to anyone!!

I'm not 100% with a recommendation yet for Dr. Via, since this was my first visit and I will need some time to decide if he is the endocrinologist for me. However, I will say that Dr. Via was running late, but spent as much time with me as I needed and I didn't feel rushed. I asked all the questions I needed and he spent all of the time that I required to give me clear and concise information.

He was thorough, personable and knowledgeable—all the qualities I look for in a physician.

While he was nice in person, I had to wait almost an hour to see him and it is now over a week after I was supposed to receive a phone call with my test results and I have called twice and still gotten no response from Dr. Via.

Dr. Via is one of the best endocrinologists I've seen in my life, and I've had about 10 of them. He's extremely friendly and doesn't make you feel guilty like a lot of endocrinologists do. Highly recommended, especially to anyone with diabetes between the age of 10 and 40.

Absolutely no concern for the patient or follow-up. After seeing this doctor, he left a message with my test results(which required follow up care)and then never responded to multiple messages left directly on his voicemail. He is non-communicative and non-responsive and I would NEVER recommend seeing him if you value your health.

This is the kind of doctor one is very happy to recommend. Outstanding. He looked and listened carefully to everything relevant about me. He gladly answered all my questions -- efficiently and precisely. And he also provided the kind of advice and encouragement that sent me away well-informed and motivated to prevent problems and promote my own health and well-bring through lifestyle aspects. This includes good guidance for nutrition (in which Dr. Via is specially trained) and exercise.

He was very professional and listened to my concerns. He left me a vm RE my test results, which was great. The wait time, however, was pretty awful -- at least an hour. The nurse who drawn my blood was talking and laughing with another person by the doorway at the same time...

Dr. Via is awesome! He was very professional, took time to speak with me about my health concerns and provided me with a coupon for a new medication. Be prepared to wait a while, especially around lunch time.
