First visit was excellent. He asked if it was ok for me to get a sonogram. I said ok and did. Then he thought I might have a small stone so he wanyed to do a cat scan. I said I had no pain and a cat scan has a lot of xrays. He said it did not, so i said ok. When i returned for the cat scan they had lost my blood tests and that I had to wait 2 hours for the one person who could take my blood to come in. I said goodbye and will not return to this doctor.

Contact with Dr. Young was satisfactory and met my needs. However, I was not called to see the doctor until almost 1:00 PM for a 12:15 PM scheduled appointment; an excessive overdue appointment in my view for a patient who took time off his job to see the doctor and needed to return to work as soon as possible. Following my discussion with the doctor, he ordered another blood draw for some additional testing and there was another 5-10 minute wait until a nurse arrived to take the blood specimen. Additionally, the nurse supervisor had a significant discussion with the receptionist about how to do her job within hearing of patients in the waiting room, which indicated lack of proficiency and this discussion should have been handled privately. I think it is possible for the Urology Dept. to improve significantly with regard to the issues I am pointing out and provide better patient service as a result. Thank you.

It's always good. Dr. Young is personable, helpful, pays attention to your concerns, and explains things in a clear and understandable manner. I never get the feeling this is just business to him. I wish my other doctors were more like him.

I actually like Dr. Young, but I am furious that Zocdoc allowed me to make an appointment on a day on which he did not have office hours! I strongly suspect this was the fault of the doctor's office and not Zocdoc.
Office staff discussed details of patient visits in the waiting area. Dr. Young practices very paternalistic medicine.
