Dr. Miriam Sivkin earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. She received a Master of Art degree in Psychology from New School for Social Research in New York City. Dr. Sivkin was awarded her M.D. degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her Residency training specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospital, Stony Brook, New York where she was a Chief Resident.
Dr. Sivkin has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Milford, Connecticut for over 20 years. She has admitting privileges at Milford Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital, and the Hospital of Saint. Raphael. She has served as Chairperson of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at Milford Hospital.
Dr. Sivkin founded her current practice seven years ago based on the philosophy of “women caring for women.” She enjoys interacting with all of her patients and has built strong and lasting friendships with many of them. She feels she has come full-circle with many of her patients. The babies she delivered at the beginning of her career are now coming to see her along with their mothers and grandmothers. She is proud to be treating multiple generations of Southern Connecticut women helping to maintain their health and wellness.
