Excellent doctor - very thorough, prompt, and professional. I highly recommend.

Doctor was extremely patient and knowledgement taking time to explain things to me. The only thing was the front staff was a bit rude and took awhile to verify my information. The checkout process was extremely quick. The doctor compounds his own medicine and sells it at the office at a reasonable price. The medicine works well on my skin and keeps a good balance.

Dr. Mandel has been my dermatologist for years. He is very thorough and kind. Yes, there have been times in the past that there was a longer than usual wait time. Despite that, I would recommend Dr. Mandel to anyone who is looking for a great dermatologist.

Very professional, friendly and efficient

We waited in the room for the Dr. Mandel more then we waited in the waiting area, he was good but he was to fast, get you in get you out.

He was nice during my appointment, and seemed helpful, proactive and knowledgeable, but he did some bloodwork and never returned my two phone calls just asking to find out the results (a reasonable request). I'm not the pushy type, but I still haven't heard from him and its been several weeks so I feel this is ridiculous and I am just going to pick up my results and go elsewhere. He "prescribed" his own products that I had to purchase in the office, which I found a bit odd, but maybe other dermatologists do this too.

Dr. Mandel was great, but I had to wait an hour to see him.

My appointment with Dr Mandel was quick but thorough, not rushed. He answered all my questions and explained everything very clearly - a great help! But I did have to wait over a half hour from my scheduled appointment to see him. Will go back to him.

I've had a few skin issues that have gone untreated. I developed a new one over the last few days and decided that I should get them checked out. My regular dermatologist moved to California, so I looked on Zoc Doc for one who accepted my insurance. I found Dr. Mandel and am glad I did. He was thorough and knowledgeable. He took his time to answer any and all questions I had and provided a clear treatment plan. I was also able to purchase the medications I needed from his office, saving me a trip to the pharmacy.

Dr. Mandel was very attentive. I had something I believed was was skin allergy and came to him. He ran exams himself, and two weeks later, when I had forgotten to call back, he personally called me to say he was a little worried and would like me to have another blood test. He cares and he got right to the issue. I trust him and will certainly return.
