A passion for biology and a love of interacting with people from all walks of life led Dr. Mitrani into medicine. Today, as an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor, Dr. Mitrani enjoys working with both children and adults to treat a wide variety of diseases. A 1979 graduate of the New York University School of Medicine, he began his career with an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Louisville Affiliated Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Mitrani then moved to Bridgeton Hospital in New Jersey, where he was part of the attending staff in emergency medicine until 1982. Afterward, he went on to complete his three year residency in otolaryngology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. In his free time, Dr. Mitrani enjoys biking, running and spending time with his family.
very disrespectful with time almost 2 hours wait, no apologies, very poor fast consultation, disorganized office, old furniture and equipment, needs a lots of improvement to be a excellent doctor.
Doctor is real proffessional
My visit was terrible! First, I had a rude nurse scream at me saying that I would be stuck with a bill because I have 2 insurances and they may not want to pay for my medical expenses. By the way I called my insurance and turns out the rude office person was wrong. Then, after a long wait I was finally called inside. Dr. Mitrani didn't introduce himself to me. He simply asked with a cold look "what are you here for"? When I explained my reason for coming, he casually looked into my ear canal, up my nose and then proceded to spray something up my nostrils. I told him to wait minute and please tell me what he is spraying and he then told me "whats the problem" once again in a very cold and impatient manner. He then took a look at my sinuses and said that they are acting up and that he will give me medicine. He didn't describe what he meant by "acting up" or what medicine he would prescribe me. Basically he was very rude and impatient with me the entire time. It was as if I was a burden to him.
