I am a Board Certified otolaryngologist, who has done research in the areas of pediatric and adult obstructive sleep apnea, allergic and viral rhinitis, facial
plastics, and middle ear anatomy. I have had work published in otolaryngology scientific journals and has made presentations before the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinological Society. I work at both Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
I enjoy practicing the entire spectrum or Ear, Nose, and throat disorders, and look forward to taking care of you and/or your children.

Amazing doctor, very friendly and patient, highly recommend. Saw my 5 year old son, explained issues well. Noticed his nose was clogged as per usual and convinced him to have his nose vacuumed out.
Without getting into specifics about what was bothering me, I saw an ENT here in Astoria and got suspicious advice and an odd diagnosis. For another opinion, I went to see Dr. Okun. Hers is a nice office with a friendly and cool staff. She identified the problem and I left happy and feeling great! Highly recommended!

I thought it was one of the best doctor visits I've had from any practitioner in a while. She saw me at the appointed time, was very pleasant and explained to me what she was going to do (I had a procedure done). After doing the procedure efficiently and gently, she then patiently explained the results. I might be a little biased because I saw her after a horrendous experience with my primary physician. Dr. Okun was also kind enough to explain what the other doctor did wrong which made my condition worse.

Dr. Okun is friendly and explains my symptons clearly. However, I waited for more than one hour and was told the doctor was taking a quick lunch break after I was already in the consulting room. I remember seeing her available time is from 12pm to at least 1pm(my appointment is 12:45pm). Don't know if the clinic is in sync with online apointment.

Dr. Okun was relatable and kind. Seemed knowledgeable and gave me several options to try with a welcomed feeling to come back if they don't work out.
Dr. Okun is very professinal, friendly, detail oriented, informative and overall a great doctor to go to. My wait was unfortunately more than an hour (around noon) but she had an emergency and everyone apologized more than once for the delay and kept me updated how long it was going to be until she could see me.
