Doctor LaVine was very personable and friendly. I voiced all my health concernes throughout the appointment and she listened attentively and took notes. I had heard horror stories about doctors not being supportive of vegan diets, but Dr LaVine was very open and encouraging. I highly recommend her and will definitely be returning to her next year.

Visit was great however, trying to resolve a prescription issue between my insurance and the doctor's office. My insurance needs the doctor's authorization and uurse is slow to respond and help resolve issue. It's going on day 4 and still no resolution.

It was thorough and efficient and she made me aware of a shingles Vaccine I was elligible for. Than you Dr Lavine!

Thoroughly delightful and highly professional. My first visit (I just moved to NYC) and with no reservations I authorized her to have all my medical records transferred to her office from my former (for 23 yrs) physician. She covered my history, listening closely, and asked succinct and to the point questions. She was responsive to my concerns and gave me the feeling she would be available and highly capable should I ever have a serious problem. I recommend Dr. LaVine without hesitation.

This was my first visit to see Dr. LaVine. I chose her based on her profile statement and user comments here on ZocDoc. She was very compassionate and really listened to me talk about my issues. I felt like she really wanted to help me and not just get me in and out the door and collect a payment. My overall experience with the administrative staff and nurses was also very pleasant one.

Dr. LaVine was really great. Very kind, made me feel extremely comfortable, listened to me patiently, asked the necessary questions when needing more in-depth details which showed that she was really listening and genuine. The only little thing that i wasn't pleased with was that some of the nurses at the front desk had some bad attitudes and weren't exactly beaming with professionalism. Other than that the facilities were super clean and modern and definitely made me feel confident about being there. Very happy to be Dr. LaVine's new patient.

Dr. LaVine is great and very attentive. The only problem is that these days it is impossible to get an appointment quickly. Her next available appointment is always more than a month away. That's file for checkups, but it's a problem when I need to see someone quickly.

This was probably the worst experience I have had with a doctor in over 10 years in NYC. Dr. Lavine was cold and dismissive - I felt like I keeping her from something she'd rather be doing. Her office staff was rude and not client centered. Their billing office is completely incompetent - I am still getting bills months later, even though my insurance company paid them as soon as they were received. My visit left me feeling disrespected as a patient and a customer. In short, if you value your time, your health, or your credit rating, find another practice.

Nancy was fantastic. I had my first visit with her and she spent a ton of time going through my medical history and even took the time to help me track down a doctor I had seen previously whose contact info I did not have. Very patient and fantastic bedside manner. She seems like she really cares you as a patient.

I have never had such a satisfying doctor's appointment in New York! Dr LaVine was incredibly thorough, respecting my concerns and discussing each in detail.
