Professional, competent, quick, smart
This was my dream appointment - able to schedule online and I could make an appointment for 7 am, before work? Yes please! I was taken back at about 7:05 and the doctor came in about 10 minutes later. I was in for a Pap smear and she was quick & to the point. She took my history and sent a prescription ahead to my local CVS. Dr. Marpu was bright & cheery. Her manner plus the modernity of booking online/managing your results online with their system/early appointments has convinced me to book my physical here and make Dr. Marpu my regular doctor.
Although I'm a former RN, with a MS in nursing, I'm very doctor-phobic when it comes to me as a patient. Dr. M. was fantastic. The only down-side was her staff. Am used to dealing with RNs in medical practices, and would prefer an MD practice with RNs and nurse practitioners doing vital signs and intake. When the assistant asked what I was allergic to, and I told her, she asked me how to spell the word. That lack of basic knowledge freaked me out. If I didn't have to deal with the staff, I'd rate the MD as perfect.

The visit went pretty well. The doctor often assumed I knew certain medical terminology and I left googling a lot of things and feeling a little scared.
I was unpleasantly surprised with how my visit with Dr. Marpu went: she was very indifferent to my complaints and helped with none either. I most likely won't be going back to her.
I searched for a dermatologist and booked an appt with Dr Marpu, but Dr Marpu is a primary care physician and I had to waste time going to this appointment.
Liked the way she listened and thought about what I was telling her.
Pleasant bedside matter, quick diagnosis, requisite prescription issued and date set for follow-up to make sure the problem is solved. No sending for unnecessary tests and no balking at coming to a conclusion about my problem. Early morning appointment was easy to get and very convenient for a working person. Recommended for people who like a no-fuss visit to the doctor for a straightforward appraisal and treatment of an issue.
I made an appointment at 7 Am as she had assured me she was always in right on time and I could be out by 7:15. She came in over 35 minutes late but then did a fine job.
I really like Dr, Marpu. She had great bedside manner, she was extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend her for anyone...kids, male/female.
She was quiet, not chatty, focused on the reason I was in, at got to the point. I liked that the appointment was quick and dirty so I could get out of there. However, she didn't take any time to get to know me, and when I had mentioned depression, she only asked if I was taking anything for it, but wasn't interested in the reason for it. But I got my evaluation and my prescriptions and I was happy to rush out to my next errand.
I thought it was good from beginning to end. Staff performed their duties with proficiency in straightforward manner. Dr. Marpu was good.
Dr. Marpu was absolutely fantastic. Her staff was amasing and she was very personable. I would recommend her to anyone!
This doctor left the blinds wide open while I was getting my pap smear. There were people walking outside in plain site! She was nice, but not all that informative when I asked her questions. Not I would recommend going somewhere else.

Excellent, efficient, convenient office. They know how to respect a patient's precious time! Thanks for getting me in and out in a flash.
Some may seek a warmer disposition from their doctor, but this is exactly the way primary care is supposed to be--from scheduling to consultation--and what everyone should want. Efficient and thorough, I never felt like a faceless body. Dr. Marpu asked questions that let me know she was looking for the proper course of action, not just the quickest way to get me out of the office.
Thoughtful, patient, and does not dismiss concerns. Knowledgeable and does not feel the need to pretend to know something she doesn't. Very easy to talk to.
If you need a consultation and annual test you are with the right person.
