Patient Reviews for Norayr Baboumian, MD
Did not listen to my concerns and issues. Office was very old and not comfortable, not modern.
Dr. Baboumian was the best doctor I could have went to with my problem. I had a serious infection and he detected it right away, when an ER doctor disreguarded my problem as not serious. He gave me the proper medicine and I am on my way to recovery because of him.
He is an excellent doctor and I had a great visit.
The office seemed sort of hectic and in disarray. Receptionist, as others have mentioned, is not very polite or helpful... You sort of have to guide her through things... Should I fill out the papers now? Should I wait in here? Should I pay my copay... Also when I did pay my copay, she just stuck it under the telephone. Which I found a little disconcerting. That said, I was able to meet with the doctor pretty quickly and he was able to solve my problem efficiently.
The receptionist was very rude when I called to ask for directions and verify that they would accept my insurance. Both the doctor and the receptionist were abrupt, rushing me through my forms. The doctor asked me to look at the vial he was about to administer to me to check the expiration date-it gave me the impression that he could not read it himself. On my way out the receptionist was complaining to the doctor about being exhausted and working too many hours.
I went in to see the doctor and that overall experience was fine. However, when I called the office to speak to the doctor about the problem persisting (and I wanted to speak to him to see if I should continue to the current treatment or go to see a specialist), I was told that the doctor does not call his patients back. The receptionist was a bit rude and didn't seem to care that they just lost a patient.
I am 29 years old, I have had my fair share of doctors appointment. I would have to say that was the fastest service. I would also recommend ZocDoc to everyone...
First appointment with Dr. Baboumian. I was well received, treated respectfully, and I didn't have to wait too long. I recommend him.
Dr Baboumian is friendly, considerate, diligent and professional.Appointment was bang on time and considering, was a wholly enjoyable experience. Definitely will use again and recommend to all.
