Dr. Paul Kang MD

A bit too rushed and a sense of batch processing but I liked the set-up and efficiency and my questions got answered. Would recommend for most but if you are looking an extended consult, you better ask up front.

I found Dr. Kang to be genuine, friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable with him and have confidence that he will help solve my problem.

I was very pleased with the extremely short wait time. Almost as soon as I finished my paperwork, Dr. Kang met with me. He had excellent bedside manner and was professional. I was very pleased with my visit and will defintely recommend Dr. Kang to others.

Dr. Kang was really knowledgeable, really personable and highly professional. He took time to answer all my questions and explain things. He clearly knows what he's doing.

Very impressed with this whole group. Dr. Kang spent a lot of time with me and addressed all of my concerns. I had a follow up a few months later and screwed up the appt. date. I arrived a day early. Dr. Kang was not there and I saw another doctor who was equally good. They squeezed me in so I would not have to come back the following day. I really love this whole practice...have been to the Maryland and DC locations and there is a consistent professionalism in both offices.

Dr. Kang is a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone. His office staff is great and everyone is so friendly.

I waited almost 45 min. Dr. Kang just spent 2 min. with me, and 1 min. of that was his writing and signing the papers. I do not recommend him to anyone.

Excellent doctor - efficient, kind and reassuring.

Although I will probably see Dr. Kang again because of his extensive experience, (and perhaps he was not as warm with me because my vision is more medically standard or 'boring'), I was a bit disappointed with the length of time he spent with me. As a new patient I was hoping he would introduce himself a bit, or spend a little more time speaking with me (I saw him for 10 minutes, tops). I asked him several questions just to get more of a feel for him, which was helpful, but others might not be so inclined to do so. The office however was very organized, the technician was wonderful, and the doctors are the best and brightest in the area. The technician even took the time to go back to the front desk to be sure that my insurance would cover seeing an opthamologist (vs an optometrist).

Dr. Kang is very knowledgeable, straightforward and nice. The appt was very thorough, with an assistant working with the patience in advance of the doctor's visit.

The doctor was nice but spent very little time with me. The technician and his assistants did all the work. They had to fill out a form for me and did not fill it out completely. My eyes had been dialated, so I could not see that they had not entirely filled it out until I got home.

I had an emergency and was able to get an appointment by the end of the week. I arrived early to fill out paperwork and they ended up beginning my appointment before my scheduled time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and Dr. Kang and his assistant were efficient but thorough.
