Dr. Peter J. Breingan MD

I was charged for the visit even though it is covered by my insurance; I didn't find out until I got home that I should not have been charged. The Doctor himself was very nice. The waiting time before the appointment was long, with other longish waits once the appointment had started.

Zoc Doc didn't even notify the doctor about my 8:30 am appointment but he saw me right away anyway! Very nice doctor and I got an excellent eye exam with a prescription for glasses that corrected for my astigmytism. I had been wearing glasses for several years that didn't even correct for this

I find Peter J. Breingan to be a wonderful Doctor. Very thorough, Informative, efficient, and courteous. Does not rush you and answers all questions. All you could ask for in a doctor. Office assistant also very organized, friendly and efficient. Always a good sign of a good dr when surrounded with an on-the-ball staff. I have been to each office location.

I reserve my highest praises for Dr. Peter Breingan. He explained the eye tests he ran, answered all my questions, relieved my anxiety and made sure I understood his findings and diagnosis. His professionalism, bedside manner, and thorough communication are what one would want from every doctor.

Very satisfactory. He's obviously a very dedicated and well-trained professional. I look forward to meeting with him regularly to take care of my eye problems as I age, beyond my present 72 years.

This is a caring and thoughtful eye guy -- he's patient, smart and experienced.

Dr Breingan was a fine, however his staff are the rudest people I have dealt with in NYC. I arrived and they promptly told me I was in the wrong location even though I had booked that location through Zoc Doc and all my communications had been about that address. I finally convinced them I had booked an appointment with Dr Breingan and they continued to be rude for the full visit. If I am paying $95 for an eye exam I would expect the experience to be painless and calm, and not leave feeling like I had just been done over. This place does not deserve it's 5 stars.

I was really pleased with Dr Breingan's professionalism, coupled by an extremely short waiting period made for an exceptional visit. I would strongly recommend his practice but that would be letting the cat out of the bag lol...

Very good Dr. Gave a thorough examination and was patient to talk to after the exam.

Nice guy, but I felt like he took the 'worst case possible' approach without really offering encouragement. I left feeling pretty hopeless & scared about my acute vertigo. The thing is, it's slowly getting better & feels pretty manageable w minimal drugs. 2 wks ago he was suggesting I take disability or leave of absence. It just seems a little extreme to have given me such a grim prognosis, following it by saying it was something I needed to wait out. Nothing more to do.
