First visit, but seems like a great, caring doctor

YOU CAN TELL HE HAS EXPERIENCE IN HIS FIELD. HE TOLD ME RIGHT AWAY WHAT IS MY PROBLEM. HE IS WAS VERY FAIR WITH ME, A LADY ATTEMPTED TO GO IN FRONT OF ME, WHEN I WAS NEXT AND THE DOCTOR TOLD HER SHE HAS TO WAIT.

Wow! A doctor who actually seems to care about his patients, who wastes no time assessing the situation but gives you all the time you need to make sure you've understood everything. Delighted! Being treated like a real human is a brilliant, if all too rare, treat in the NYC medical system.

Very helpful and straightforward doctor. Definitely not one for those who need to be sweet-talked through an appointment, but he knows what he's doing and wont jerk you around unnecessarily.

I thought he was polite, professional and thorough. He was clear in his explanations and had my best interest in mind. Someone wrote thathis office is old, but I found it charming. Bottomline, Dr. Feldman was a good choice.

He was very helpful. He's very old school but with that comes someone who has great rapport and you really feel like you can trust him. He is truly interested in getting you better.

I thought he was good- he perscribed me a topical acne medication that wasn't covered by my insurance. I called to get a new perscription (I've used every medication under the sun, they all work) and he said I needed to come in AGAIN for him to look at my face- which means one week after I saw him I would have to pay another $40 copay. I'm going somewhere else. P.S. the office is ANCIENT!

Very happy with my visit. Wait was minimal (especially for a doctor's office). Dr. Feldman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and seemed genuinely interested in helping me get better. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

The office is by no means high-tech or modern, but Dr. Feldman knows his dermatology. He works briskly and efficiently, and communicates directly and honestly. His front desk assistant is a real asset to the office – definitely more helpful and friendly than her job requires. Parking near their office during weekday business hours was not easy. If you plan to travel to your appointment by car, I'd plan to spend at least a few minutes in search of a parking spot. Or just ride a bike, which is what I plan to do next time.

He was very friendly and down to earth. He knew what my problem was right away after looking at it. Very professional and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Philip Feldman was very professional and personable. He explained what treatment I could use and its side effects and he also gave me his personal recommendation. He thoroughly examined my rash and reassured me that it was indeed Shingles!

The doctor was very kind and took his time to explain things to me. His staff person at the front desk was also nice. My concern is that he seemed very shy about examining me (I'm a young woman), when of course the whole reason I went to the office was for a skin cancer screening. I am not shy about being examined, so I don't think I'd go back for this service because I'm not sure I'd be getting a thorough exam from Dr. Feldman. If I just needed to get a wart removed from my foot or had a question about a rash on my arm, I doubt the shyness would come into play and I would probably would go back.

Waiting a while when you have an appointment is annoying. I waited 30 minutes. That said, the doctor spent a solid 15 minutes with me - which is more than I can say for most doctors these days. He seemed knowledgeable and nice but has an annoying habit of cutting you off when you talk. Little advice doc, you may know everything I'm about to say - but you also might not, so wait an extra 3 seconds for me to finish talking. Not a bad experience, but nothing to rave about either.

Dr. Feldman is great at his job, very knowledgable, very kind, and very professional. I only was disappointed that I had to wait 1.5 hours even mid-day on a Wednesday.

I was very satisfied by my visit to Dr. Feldman's. He was incredibly thorough, and took a lot of time to help me.

Doctor Feldman diagnosed a probem I have been having for literally years, and by "years" I mean at least 8. Other dermotolgists had been able to put a bandaid on the ever resurfacing issue but Doctor Feldman figured underlying cause. One of the best doctors I have ever been to.

Was very impressed with the doctor, it was quick and easy. I felt like he actually listened to me.

After finally being seen nearly an hour and a half past my appointment, the doctor kept cutting me off before I could explain my symptoms and zeroed on an implausible sounding cause without explaining why. Also troubling: his unnecessary and uninformed comments about a unrelated health field that suggest both poor judgment and a disregard of more recent medical knowledge.

I found Dr. Feldman to be intelligent and professional. He has my respect.

I was able to get a same-day appointment. I've seen several dermatologists for my excema and he is the first to recommend both a treatment and help me rule out possible environmental factors that could be causing the problem, which I appreciate more than just the prescription. His office isn't much to look at, but he's a good doctor.
