Dr. Phillip Sohn DO

Expect your first visit to be longer than usual. Dr. Sohn makes sure to ask about your medical history. Blood work is done in the office and you can call for your results.

Good office, long wait times.

Dr. Phil spent upwards of an hour with me, taking the time to not only cover my most pressing medical need, but also taking notes about my family and personal medical history. His friendly and open manner made it very easy to relax. His staff were very professional and friendly to boot! I have no hesitations to recommend him highly.

Dr. Phil was wonderful. Informative, attentive, and very personable. I switched him to my PCP and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a nice, professional doctor.

The wait time was kind of brutal, but the visit was worth it. I'd rather wait an extra 45 minutes to see a nice doctor who knows what he's talking about rather than a jerk or someone who doesn't help at all. Dr. Phil was really great. He not only helped me with my respiratory infection, but also gave me some other great advice about my health. Hopefully the office will be able to cut down wait times, but hey, this is NYC and you usually have to wait for the good stuff this city has to offer. I assume that would go for good doctors too.

Everybody in the practice was very friendly, open, professional and knowledgeable. The wait is long, but only because they aren't trying to rush anybody - they give you undivided attention to anything that you ask or need from them. Great team, great doctor, will definitely return.

Outstanding doctor

Dr. Sohn was great. I did have a long wait, but that was more because ZocDoc's auto scheduling piled a bunch of new patients all at the same time. Dr. Sohn was very apologetic, and didn't make me feel rushed at all when I met with him. He was great.

Great guy, great attitude, very knowledgeable, answers any questions you may have, big or small. Seems to have a fresh mindstate about the whole medicine thing. Great job.

Doc Sohn was very thorough and took time to ask a lot of questions. He's also very good at answering whatever question you have and although his schedule was busy he didn't make me feel rushed. I will definitely come back!

Very thorough with everything. Explained anything I had questions on in detail. Didn't make me feel uncomfortable at any time. I am new to New York and have never had a doctor outside of the one in my hometown so this was a great first time, definitely returning to him. His team was extra helpful too!

Dr. Phil was exactly what I was looking for in a GP. His bedside manner was awesome, and he explained everything in a concise manner. I felt like I was hanging out with a buddy. I would highly recommend him.

My first visit today with Dr.Sohn was excellent. He was thorough, attentive and really took his time with me. His staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and professional. Judy, up front, is a gem!

Very good Dr! Knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

I waited 2 1/2 hours for my first visit with Dr. Sohn for an appointment that lasted 10 minutes. He then lectured me on subjects that felt like I was "getting a talking to" from my father. He was very apologetic about the wait but ater 2 1/2 hours I was less than forgiving, seeing as only two patients were seen before me. If you have all the time in the world or can make the first appointment of the day than maybe Dr.Sohn's office is for you, but I won't be going back.
