Dr. Musy grew up in the suburbs of Kansas City, leaving in 1985 to attend the University of Florida. While an undergraduate, he was inducted into Phi Beta
Kappa. He graduated with high honors in 1989, and spent a year after graduation doing research in the Department of Pediatrics. He then entered into the MD/PhD program at the University of Florida, and completed his studies in 1998. He was inducted into Alpha Omicron Alpha medical honor society for academic and clinical excellence. His PhD focused on the molecular mechanisms of poxviral pathogenesis.
He then did an internship in general surgery at the University of Virginia, and subsequently completed residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, also at the University of Virginia. Following residency, he practiced ENT in private practice in Bozeman, Montana for 6 years. He made the move back to the East Coast in 2010, and joined the Washington ENT Group in July 2010.
Dr Musy is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is board certified in otolaryngology. He is affiliated with Georgetown University Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital, and practices surgical and medical management of a variety of ear, nose, and throat problems. He has a particular interest in sinonasal problems, and cares for both adult and pediatric patients.

Thorough, thoughtful, punctual.
Dr. Musy is all business, which is fine if you're not looking to chit chat. But his team of four super-incompetent receptionists is beyond unbelievable. Rude? Check. No sense of privacy as they announce why you're there to other patients? Check. Bad enough to ruin the whole experience? Unfortunately, check.
Dr. Musy was very professional and thorough. He listened to all my questions and comments and gave me practical solutions to my problem. The most important point, is that I felt comfortable and confident in his diagnosis. He knows his stuff; for me, that's all you can ask for.

Dr. Musy was very nice and took the time to listen to my concerns and ask plenty of questions. He was very thorough and fully explained why he ruled out each reason for my sickness. I didn't feel condescended to or rushed at all. Also, the office was quite prompt and I didn't have to wait long.
This doctor is very professional, thorough, and knowledgable. He explained my condition to me in easily understood language and gave me pointers on preventing its reoccurrence. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I arrived late and the office still took me in--quite immediately! Though the ladies made sure I would feel the appropriate shame ("The doctor may not be able to see you today. We'll have to go back and see if he'll still take you"), they still took me in and I was not charged a fee.
Great! He even got me in for a CT scan just an hour later at a place that was fully booked.
Dr. Musy took time to answer questions and never made me feel rushed, yet had me out of his office in about 30 minutes. He was very professional, thorough and personable.
Dr. Musy was extremely professional, and with a pleasant manner. He did not try to 'sell' me any tests or procedures, but was straightforward about my condition. When I suggested further aid for my condition, he said that it would not be of much help to me at this point and suggested that I check back with him within one year, which I plan to do.

I chose this doc because of the 5 star ratings. My satisfaction was satisfactory. I would give 3.5 stars. I am not very happy with the front desk lady though. She was quite rude and definitely lacked customer service skills.

I think he's a great doctor, but his ridiculous office staff is reason for me to find a new doctor. Out of three visits, I received multiple bills (all of which ended up getting cancelled from them). One appointment was scheduled on the wrong day and they made no effort to reschedule me. He should hire some professional staff.

To start, his office got me an appointment quickly and did not leave me waiting when I arrived for my appointment. Dr. Musy was very courteous, patient, and professional. He was able to communicate complicated/frightening medical terms in an understandable and comforting way. He spent quite a long time with me, answering every question I could ask. He even gave me a print-out with my diagnosis and treatment recommendations. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
