R. Lynn Ehrhardt, M.D. attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and completed her medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. After completing her internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas Texas, Dr. Ehrhardt completed her residency program at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Before going into private practice, Dr. Ehrhardt participated as a medical missionary in Zaire, Africa. She is married and the mother of five children.

Dr. Ehrhardt is board certified and licensed in Texas. She has staff privileges at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Walnut Hill Surgery Center.
