Born and raised in Binghamton, NY, Dr. Rachel Friedman is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She
completed her residency in OB-GYN at Brown University’s Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, where she also served as Chief Resident. Since that time she has been caring for women in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She worked in Boston for the Massachusetts's General Hospital’s OB-GYN faculty practice for several years until coming to Manhattan five years ago. Dr. Friedman has had a clinical appointment at NYU Langone Medical Center since she arrived in New York, where she has worked in private practice until joining Concorde Medical Group, where she practices general Gynecology. She is especially interested in women’s health and wellness. Her other areas of interest are the treatment of abnormal pap smears, family planning, menopause, and dysfunctional bleeding.
Dr. Friedman aims to provide compassionate, respectful and evidence-based care. Her goal is to treat each patient as she would treat a family member.
